its mainly about its thing really, the past 3 dlcs have a great connection to base game, besides offering their prime content, they came with other mechanics. Like Biotech primary was about mechanoids and genes, it also added children, integrated xenotypes and pollution, in other words it added lots of content that worked together fantastically. Royalty on the other hand added mainly the Empire, but also psycasts, extended mech cluster and several implants. This is frankly my problem with Anomaly, it lacks other content. It emphasizes on anomalies and entities, which would be great, but to me its not well integrated with the base game, gameplay wise and lore wise. I've been playing with Anomaly turned off and it feels like Im not missing anything.

So the final update is here now and I finally can give it a good review. It adds lots of content that fits flawlessly into the base game, so definitely buy this if you play TLD
