Once upon a time the greatest roguelike was released by one of the worst publishers. That injustice has now been corrected.

This game is worth at least $20 more that is being charged and if the developer keeps adding things to the game the gap between value vs. price will be even greater. You really should get on board as fast as you can.

This is how you please your target audience!

I have to say, the gameplay loop in this game is addictive.

No sandbox, no dice.

Imagine your favorite Impressions builder and then dumb the walkers down significantly and you will have this game. Walkers don't have a range, you have to set their paths. That was the beauty of the old Impressions games; you build the building and its walkers would find what they need... just make sure you build it in range.

Also, if the dev is going to deactivate beta keys, I should get a clean slate on playtime and achievements.

The game has a bizarre tenderness and earnestness that is completely balanced by being absolutely bonkers. The Personas are no longer the craziest JRPGs I've played.

I was on the way to my quest tackling the horrible crime of elder abuse (which the game takes quite seriously) and on the way I took on two substories; one of which was about whack-a-moling sheep and roosters to stay awake in a movie theater and the other was fighting a group of men who get their swerve on by dressing in in diapers and sucking on pacifiers. (and the Man-babies had a "more-you-know" after-school lecture about being sensitive to wives who have just given birth and are raising a baby).

I have to say, this one snuck up on me. I love the crunchy combat and I love the responsive controls. Even though it's s side-scrolling beat-em-up, the controls respond like a regular fighting game. Anyway, I am 10 thumbs when it comes to twitch games, but I will probably throw myself against the wall more frequently than normal with this one.

Great game but fark em for selling out to Epic.

Let's face it; If Vic makes it you can damn well bet it will be good.

I never do Early Access reviews but this game has consumed me. I jumped in to do a quick learning game and I am still working on the same factory. When I'm not playing the game, I'm thinking about how to optimize. other than a slew of clipping issues, I'm not really seeing a lot to criticize though.
