Assassin's Creed Syndicate ★★★★★★★★✬☆ [8.5/10]

Intro

Assassin's Creed Syndicate, set in Victorian Era London, you can play as two twin protagonists Evie Frye and Jacob Frye.
Honestly I really enjoyed playing this Assassin title, again as they usually do, they carried a few mechanics and features from their previous game Unity and improved them here, such as the many ways to infiltrate an enemy base to assassinate your target and the investigation side quests felt more polished and interesting.

PROS:

+ The many challenges the game has which keep giving you that sense of accomplishment;
+ Ubisoft achievements;
+ Game progression system will keep you hooked featuring an improved and better way to adquire and upgrade skills;
+ Crafting system to upgrade your gear for even more progression dopamine hits;
+ Combat system is really smooth and fun to play;
+ New weapons to try;
+ Outfit customization and unique outfits;
+ ROPE LAUNCHER which at first it may seem weird in an Assassin Creed game but it's really fun and fast paced to use it!;
+ Recruit a Gang to run around with and help you - Also gang upgrades!;
+ Chariot Races;
+ Brawls;
+ Graphics still look great as of today;
+ London looks great, feels so good to play a game in this era and place, each Assassin Creed's game makes me feel like I've visited these places at that point and time;
+ Optimization is way better than Unity;
+ Your main base is a train;
+ The story is interesting enough to keep you going, though it's not ACII/Black Flag/Origins level imo;
+ You can switch between the twins to play and they are somewhat interesting characters, specially Evie;
+ The DLC Jack The Ripper was really fun to play;
+ No multiplayer achievements;
+ No bugs that I remember honestly.

CONS:

- There isn't as much movement freedom as there was in Unity;
- Parkour also feels weaker compared to Unity;
- Turns out to be repetitive when you're collecting stuff;
- No steam achievements/cards.

FINAL VERDICT

Honestly it's been a while since I played this game, I don't really remember having any major con that stopped/frustrate me from enjoying this game, it's a really good game and totally worth on sale to pick it up. Even if you already played Origins and Odyssey, this one still feels "fresh" not outdated and it's progression system will keep you hooked as those two games do as well.(not as much though) It's also not a bad starting point if you're unsure about older titles being outdated or not. (Though Black Flag doesn't feel outdated at all and really is a good outstanding AC/game to start on, storywise ACII is really a good starting point as well) You can check my other AC reviews if you want for PROS/CONS.
