Destiny 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Destiny, which was initially available only on console. Bungie has been diligent in bringing Destiny 1 content into Destiny 2, enhancing the overall gaming experience. The game itself is superb, with numerous events spread throughout the year. While it is possible to play solo, the game is far more enjoyable with friends. You have the option to choose from three classes: Titan, Hunter, or Warlock, and you can have up to three characters, allowing you to experience all three classes simultaneously. Additionally, you can select and change subclasses at any time, choosing from Void, Arc, Solar, or Stasis.

PvE (Player vs. Environment)
PvE gameplay is highly engaging and entertaining, featuring various activities:

Story Campaign

Raids

Altars

Wells

Dungeons

Strikes

Nightfalls

Exotic Quests

Seasonal Content

PvP (Player vs. Player)
However, in my opinion, the PvP aspect of Destiny 2 is outdated. The PvP maps are well-known to experienced players, making it challenging for new players to compete effectively. As a result, many new players do not stay in this game mode for long.

In the Crucible, you will find:

Control / Iron Banner: Capture the flag

Momentum: Hardcore mode where one bullet can kill you

Rumble: Everyone vs. Everyone

Mayhem: Abilities recharge very quickly

Elimination: 3v3 with revive

Clash: 6v6 for kills

Survival: Competitive 3v3 with limited lives

Trials: Competitive 3v3 with revive

Gambit
Destiny 2 introduces a new game mode not found in Destiny 1: Gambit. While many players understand the basics of Gambit, mastering it is another story.

In Gambit, two teams of four players compete on separate maps. The objective is to collect motes (up to 15 per player) for a total of 100 to summon a Primeval and defeat it before the opposing team. At 25, 50, 75, and 100 motes banked, a portal opens, allowing players to invade the opposing team's map, eliminating players to make them lose motes and slow their progress. Currently, this game mode can be frustrating for some players because those who purchased Bungie's 30th Anniversary expansion have access to the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. This powerful weapon can target and kill players from long distances, making the game mode less enjoyable for others. However, I find Gambit intriguing as it introduces PvE players to small-scale PvP scenarios.

Content Updates
Destiny 2 is a constantly evolving game, sometimes requiring Bungie to vault content temporarily to make room for new additions. Similarly, some weapons are sunset to introduce new ones. While not all players are happy with these changes, I believe that periodic updates keep the game fresh and exciting.

Recommendation
I highly recommend Destiny 2 to anyone who enjoys grinding for the perfect weapon or armor and adapting to various situations.
