It is everything you liked about Vermintide but updated to a sleek GrimDank finish. The melee combat is still cathartic and bloody, the gun play meshes fairly well and the maps are beautiful. As with other titles in the series this is a mini-title. It is not a long game, you will repeat the same missions over and over, but you get exactly what you paid for.

The penances create a fun way to challenge you on each of the four main characters while also providing some exclusive gear to flex on your friends. With the precedent set from Vermintide, real money skins are the primary way to get unique outfits once you have acquired your penance gear. This should be surprising to no one given the current state of gaming but I would appreciate a wider variety of earn-able cosmetics.
