What a gem. The story is an excellent cyberpunk-based jaunt into what it means to be human, how our actions can affect others, and how we view ourselves. The die based system of play seems more complicated than it actually is.

Worth paying full price for this beautiful RPG.

An exceptional, glorious game. A rare gem of polish and sheen that I struggled to put down for days on end.

But, alas, Sony is doing its thing and now we are forced to link a PSN account. Unfortunately, I cannot do that. On principle, I do not link anything to my Steam account (is Steam my only equity?). So, I won't be allowed to continue playing.

Hard pass from me based solely on this debacle. If they roll this back, I'll update my review to reflect that.

For when you want to play Runescape but you also care about your life and how you spend your free time

Lil bit of a complicated review here.

Is this as good as the original Subnautica? No. Is it just as good? Well, kind've. There's some new, (at first) interesting story that keeps you somewhat on track / on the rails compared to the original title. Though I will say I enjoyed the original Subnautica more, this game is an absolute looker so its got that going for it.

Tbh, I haven't finished this yet. I'm right towards the very end but haven't gotten enough willpower muster to finished 'er out. Frankly, having my 5 module sea truck moving along slow af kind've killed my drive considering I keep having to trek across the map.

EDIT: Ok, I went back and finished the game fully. I'd say that wrapping up the story was well worth it.

Would do worse things for Bastila Shan

Great story game with some difficult resource management aspects. I really enjoyed it and finished it in a couple nights of gameplay. What I will say though is that I really do dislike when games make me make difficult decisions about dogs. That aside, I'd recommend it! Props to Bellular Studios
