Mordhau: a half-sword technique of holding the sword inverted, with both hands gripping the blade, and hitting the opponent with the pommel or crossguard.

Mordhau is an experience unlike any other. It is truly something that everyone should experience. Sure, it does have a learning curve (and a hard one), but what REALLY matters is the fun of it all. And this game provided ENDLESS fun for me and my friends. From wide-scale castle assaults and sieges, to even hold the line on Helm's Deep thanks to the awesome modding community, to even a Star Wars game mode (thanks to mods). The developers have put in TONS of time since the start of the project back in 2015 (I believe). But there has been some drama involving one of the developers and a pro player (I ain't going to go into any specifics, you can find that out yourself), no female characters (yet, possibly), and no mixed races (yet, possibly). Make whatever you want and head into battle with your fellow warriors, archers, cavalry, and much more. Want to make a naked warrior crazed for the blood of his enemies? Go right ahead.
But there are some downsides to the game:
If you are wanting a good ranked experience and testing your skill, I suggest you look elsewhere unless you are truly insane. The ladder system is way too broken for Mordhau (Ex: 2 wins would get you around +30 or so ELO, 1 loss drops you down a rank or two, which is stupid)

There are ridiculous weapon animations that people abuse to insanely increase the speed of their weapon or slowing it down (I am not talking about normal accels and drags)

The grind will break any casual gamer's heart, but will be rewarding when you unlock everything.
