Definitely an improvement compared to the original doom. Carries a more arcadey feel to it but it's all much faster and encourages weapon changing a lot more. More unique enemies and better may layout now that more mobility options are added. I would buy at full price and highly recommend getting it on sale.

I haven't tried the new update yet but from what I've seen it's a minimal patch that adds almost nothing. Game with loads of potential but it has too many down periods of doing nothing and not enough events and uniqueness between countries. Hopefully it gets more updates since this is an interesting era to play in. DLC greed ahead like any paradox game but if your friend with DLC hosts then you get to cheap out.

Buy with dlc when on sale. Worth the price with all the interaction the game has to offer. Play as the head of a bloodline and try to bang, kill, or buy your way to the throne of a country. Merge countries, kill your family members, bang your family members, sacrifice your family members in a blood orgy with a horse, a cat, a werewolf, and a bear all in the name of satan all while growing your penis back. The intrigue is phenominal and when playing with friends it can ever be better. While dlc is costly the host shares it with everyone hosting the lobby so it encourages playing with your friends or others.

EDIT: While all issues below still exist besides the censoring, I would recommend this game on sale if you want a quick paced strategy game. The core mechanics are nice and gun play is fun with unique scenarios happening every game. All ops have a place in the game, even tachanka if you want to bm. Maps are good though some are horrible, but the terrain in these maps are fairly flexable with destroyable walls. Don't buy starter version unless you are willing to have an unecessary and annoying grind.

First the hit reg came but I still played, then lion came but I still played, bugs lingered across the floor unattended, and finally with Ubi losing in profits they appeal to authoritarian policies and apply it world wide. This game was amazing and still is, but issues keep piling up and they lost their senses once they started adding censorship. Sure it doesn't affect much but it's the prinicple of them sacrificing freedom for more monetary game. Who knows what would come next. Ubi isn't best with their pr after with their other horrid banning systems that focuses and bad words instead of hackers. I personally haven't run into any hackers but they ate somewhet prevalent. Rank has been in beta for two years and functions stupidly. Tachanka has been busted and they are either not touching him or going to replace him. With all these negatives siege was still a fun game but once they lost their morals and have forsaken their community that was the last straw to break my back.

A fun, lovey dovey that might hit you in the feels if you really screw up. Sure, there is a warning in the beginning but that is simply because there are bad endings that hit you right in the heart. Besides that, this game is wholesome and wonderful, I would recommend to all of those who would be interested but do take the warning seriously though, it had me all depressed for hours.

The first time I played this game I was smiling and laughing so much my face started to hurt. A wonderful little local co-op game where 1-4 people control a ship, whether it be a gun, the engine, or the shield. My only issue with the game is that it's only local co-op and not online. If you have a couple of friends to play this game with it is worth the purchase.

10/10 My favorite Dark Souls game.

Before I make a review, I heavily recommend by at least Dark Souls 1 so you can get the full experience when you play this.

The combat feels very fluid, it's faster then previous Souls games but not as fast as Bloodborne. They changed the equip load amount to fit a faster style of combat. The boss fights are epic and the move sets they have are beautifully played out.

The world looks gorgeous but it's not as intertwined as Dark Souls 1. There are a lot of callbacks to previous souls games through enemies, equipment, and obscure references through out the world; which honestly made the best moments for me. It does leave me wanting to yearn for more, since I feel like it doesn't have a good amount of unique content; but this can be done through the dlc. The graphics look wonderful and all the weapons are uniquely designed. The music in this game is some of the best I've listened to.

Some issues I have with the game is that poise is a bit of funky thing right now since it technically exists but also doesn't. Poise based rings and equipment are useless and any weapons can two hit stun lock you in pvp. Greatshields are also broken in pvp since you can't break their stamina. Rolling doesn't cost enough so fights can last way too long if your enemy decides to roll around everywhere. Another major issue was the massive soft ban from online content in a struggle to get rid of hackers (If you were effected by this I posted a way to get around it on the top of the review). I could list a couple of more things but don't get me wrong, I love this game. The current major issues I have are dealing with pvp, which is expected since the game was released recently during the time I made this review.

NOW GO OUR THERE, GIT GUD, AND PRAISE THE SUN \[T]/

It's alright, maybe worth an hour or two.

In all seriousness a really good grand strategy game that is popularly known as the map making simulator, and for good reason. In this game you paint out your own history in an ever so detailed fasion. Either creating a grand colonial empire, be a war mongering country, or a simple trade company. Sure, it may be a little intimidating to get into the game at first, but if you have a friend or watch some videos on it, you should be fine. I would give the game a 9/10, good content, but there are some small bugs here and there and the dlc is kind of expensive. You can share dlc with people though in multiplayer if they host it.

Cheers :)

EDIT: Would still recommend the game but the more I play the it, the more bs i see in the AI and how Paradox is pretty lazy in properly handling them. AI get more ally slots, more general slots, no attrition for units, no fort maintenance on borders, lower agressive expansion, less base unrest.... you get the idea. The thing is you can still beat them, I was able to form Italy and dismantle the HRE with a Poland, austria, massive bohemia, lithuania pu group stacked against me that was allied to russia and the ottomans. So ey, sometimes it comes down to luck.

RE EDIT: My notes above are tad bit salty but yes their AI is still fairly trash. I would now say to buy the game when it's on sale only and I recommend to buy some dlc with the purchase since the base is completely different from a game with dlc.

RE RE EDIT: Game is still fun. Some mods have brought be back into the game. If you want a fantasy touch to the game, get anbennar. Some might say it's more in depth than the base game.
