Good game, crows and tengu are annoying. Please add a volume slider specifically to lower this sound!

Removed AVX. Still doesn't work. Upgraded PC parts to recommended specs and game is top notch.

Placing bets that this will add War of the Underworld gameverse story and new skills at the least.

This review will be coming out of beating the game and delving deep into gameplay after 100+ hours.

• This game is not meant for anything under a GTX950 as it feels you will suffer with frames at the moment until Bandai can release the next Technical Update in August of 2020.
  
  
• I play this on an RTX Titan and get 50-80 frames which is not too bad but this can give an idea of how graphically intense the game can be.
  
  
• Bugs do exist at the moment, ranging from enemies disappearing - a simple crash on Multiplayer or during an intense fight.
  
  
• Due to the bugs being present, it is recommended to save often.

• Playing the game itself can be pretty satisfying when it comes to combat as it has similar fundamentals to Hollow Realization but with more to maintain when in a battle.
  
  
• You are able to control your companions on your journey and almost anywhere you need to go.
  
  
• Romancing a character exists in this game and does bring more to-do if you are not satisfied with the 100s of side quests and boss battles this gives.
  
  
• A con would be the repetitive feeling you get when constantly doing "Trials" which would just be killing a certain number of enemies but some people may like this VS the Visual Novel Story.

• The story is true to what it claims. Expect a new story in the Underworld as we knew it from the anime.
  
  
• Story and Side-story give the player many hours to learn about a character that they were curious about in the anime.
  
  
• A con would be the amount of cut-scenes in the beginning before you can get into the RPG aspect of the game as it is a good 10 hours to get started and to start multiplayer/design a character.
  
  
• The Story is not just confined to what you purchased. 2 weeks after release, ReoNa (singer) was added with a story into the game and may be a possibility that they may include more free updates to the story as well.

• Opening is very pleasing compared to some releases in the past when it comes to the gameverse of Sword Art Onine
  
  
• BGM was very well thought of when it comes to Story scenes and Battles.
  
  
• Personally I do not like the repetitive music when you go to the main town where most characters you converse with are (North Centoria). Some people would not mind but at some point I did mute BGM to listen to music on my side which is good but I would advise turning BGM back on when it comes to Main Quests so you do not miss out on the mood they try to create.
  

I would rate this a 7/10 at this time as the game does not feel complete in itself and but this is only the Base part of the game and we have so much to look forward to and expect for this game as all their other games add so much when it comes to DLC.

Another thing I did not talk about was Monthly Raids and the Shop in-game but these have not been accessed by me at this current time.

This game is made with Unity and have seen quite a handful of games do well with this Engine and I believe this has plenty of potential to be the anime-esque game of choice when it comes to free-roam visual novels.

Combat system is not too bad for Early Access and the game is beatable but do have to focus or you will get slammed over and over again by waifus.
