truly revised and handwritten by me, without the use of artificial intelligence.

Brick Rigs has only one limit: the player themself. Even what once seemed impossible becomes possible thanks to individual discoveries and experiments by players.

I: What can you do in Brick Rigs?

1: Create without limits

+ You have the freedom to create whatever you want, from vehicles to buildings, including complex machines.
- This freedom can lead to abuse with creations that may degrade gameplay for others. However, this depends on the players, so it shouldn't be generalized.

2: Variety of creations on the workshop

+ There is access to a vast variety of published creations, offering a wide range of choices and enriching the gaming experience.
- Despite this variety, many creations become obsolete due to updates, while others may be harmful to the game, and the best ones often require some experience to be used correctly.

3: Access to different public servers

+ Players can join a variety of servers—combat, roleplay, sandbox, apocalyptic, etc.—offering a very active and diverse community.
- As in any game, some players may occasionally reduce the enjoyment. However, moderation tools exist to remedy this.

4: Multiple game modes

+ A variety of game modes are available on different servers: Battle, Conquest, Zombie, Deathmatch, Sandbox, or others created with community-made Mods.
- Despite the appeal of these game modes, access to the community and various projects and modes becomes necessary after a certain number of hours to avoid repetitiveness.

II: What is the goal of Brick Rigs?

1: Sandbox

+ Brick Rigs has no specific objective per se; it's more of a sandbox game offering various activities. This allows players to do whatever they wish in the game.
- However, this can limit the player to their creativity and imagination.

2: Motivation

+ If players who engage in Brick Rigs are motivated to experiment, create, and innovate, that's where the game and the player define their own objectives. The aspiration to surpass the best creators in the game or to build the best possible creations becomes an intrinsic motivation.
- However, this may discourage many players, as the progression in the game isn't always very intuitive, despite major improvements since the Legacy version.

3: Objectives through events

+ Players organize events aimed at having specific creations to be able to participate. This gives players who want it a goal to achieve and thus a defined purpose.
- However, these events are not always available, and it also requires the motivation to create or modify builds to participate.

4: Experience and learning

+ In the game, there is no experience cap; there’s always something to learn, discover, and create to further your knowledge, which makes the source of novelty almost unlimited.
- However, the learning curve is very steep, which can potentially discourage the player.

5: Knowledge and expertise

+ This is not a game where simple basic knowledge is enough to be good; it offers a wide range of varied experiences that allow you to apply different areas of expertise and creativity, both in building and in using creations in-game.
- On the flip side, the gap between experienced and less experienced players is very wide, causing a certain imbalance in skill levels.

III: What kind of community does Brick Rigs have?

1: Large community

+ Brick Rigs benefits from a large community with groups for all tastes.
- However, many immature or young players can sometimes ruin part of the multiplayer experience.

2: Mature communities

+ There are more mature player communities that offer various, original, and more elaborate projects.
- However, despite this high quality, these projects are not always accessible to everyone, requiring experience or being complex and time-consuming to implement.

3: Experienced players

+ There are also groups of more experienced players who offer help or organize small, interesting events, more or less regularly, generally open to the public.
- However, to connect with these people, you need to have prior contacts, since these communities remain niche.

4: Competitive teams

+ There are competitive communities that can offer a real challenge for those looking for it.
- More experienced players tend to dominate less experienced ones in competitive modes, due to a lack of team balancing.

IV: What content does Brick Rigs have?

1: Resizable bricks

+ In the game, you can find a large variety of bricks, mainly resizable ones that allow you to create whatever you want, including light, floating, or aerodynamic bricks that enable various creations.
- Despite this great variety, there are limitations due to the experience required to successfully build quality designs with them.

2: Mechanical basics

+ There are also mechanical bricks, such as wheels, engines, helicopter turbines or airplane propellers, rocket boosters, and other utilities like winches, couplers, etc. All this is easy to use, either in a basic or more complex way.
- Despite their primary usefulness in the game, to avoid redundancy, it’s preferable to link systems or other mechanical elements to expand their usage.

3: System and logic

+ The game has logic bricks that allow you to create systems, using sensors, switches, screens, mathematical formulas, etc. A wide range of possibilities is available to the player. There are also communities and tutorials that explain how to use them better.
- Despite these immense possibilities, logic is hard to learn. It’s mainly acquired through experience and time, which may discourage some players.

4: Mechanics and actuators

+ There are actuators—pistons, hinges, or sliders—that allow you to build all kinds of interesting and useful mechanisms. Easier to use than logic, they can also work alongside logic to create complex logical mechanisms.
- Physics issues will always persist when several actuators are connected together, which can prevent certain designs due to the mechanical limitations of the game.

5: Freely accessible creations

+ Of course, like any community game, a massive variety of creations is available on the workshop, also allowing players to simply use others' builds without needing to construct. There is something for every taste, which is a strong point of the game’s diversity, including utilities and tutorials freely available for builders, etc.
- Using creations from other builders requires reading the description or instructions linked to them to understand how they work, or having some knowledge of building to grasp certain aspects.

V: In summary, Brick Rigs?

Conclusion,

Brick Rigs is a very good game, but it does have many flaws, mainly related to its community rather than the game itself.
That said, it doesn't mean it's a bad game—quite the opposite. One should not generalize, because by searching properly, you can find the best communities in the game with excellent players and build great friendships. I’m living proof of that.

So, if you want to play Brick Rigs, go for it. However, be committed if you want to progress, and above all, be a fair-play and friendly player to make others like you and me want to continue playing this game!

VI: About me?

This is the opinion of a player with over 10,000+ hours in the game, dedicating over 50+ hours per week to it since the beginning. If this review has been helpful or not, let me know, and feel free to share your opinions.
