The Winds of War Update brings confusion into the game.

What started as a task based extraction shooter now has PvP pushed as a focus on top of the task oriented game. It seems like an after thought and isnt really working imho. I completed most of the tasks early in the Early Access and put the game down due to an update bricking the game for certain antivirus users.
With this update i decided to dive back in and cant say its enjoyable. Every server ive connected to Mithras is pushed back into Nam Thaven and you cant progress due to squads of enemy players camping around Nam Thaven. They are now forcing players to group up in order to survive but with so many tasks so far apart no one wants to group up. And the PvP isnt even enjoyable. The map is so large you will never see the player who killed you, and the respawns are marked for everyone so they will have a friend waiting near the closest outpost knowing you will spawn there. I have only seen one enemy player face to face. PvP used to be location based as you progressed through the tasks but now it feels like people are purposefully going out of their way to grief other players, especially solos.
This is not what i originally played and enjoyed and Forced grouping to play a game is the death note for any franchise. So for that i cannot recommend this game in its current state.
