pros: the art. cinematics look great and the backgrounds are solid
cons:
every single time you open the game or quit to main menu the obnoxious intro cinematic plays (why?? wasn't one time enough?)
the soundmixing is аss and volume settings are nonexistent in this game so you can't even attempt to fix that yourself
platforming is abysmal (and this is a platformer ffs). movement is very weird and hard to get used to with some strange delays. ropes are inconsistent and annoying to deal with
good luck trying to hit enemies while not bumping into them because your attack hitbox is so small you have to allign yourself perfectly to even do any damage
verdict: very hard to enjoy because of all the annoying little things. there are way better platformers/metroidvanias out there

oh boy, i'm so bored! if only there was a game where i could bang on some country balls in a hilariously inaccurate historical setting

This one really didn't age well. Tedious slow-paced gameplay, dumb AI that often leads to NPCs continiously running into enemies just to get their ass beaten, no playstyle variety and general lack of direction, If you want a complete and enjoyable kingdom experience just get Two Crowns instead.

i can turn gay people into fries 10/10

i remember playing PDTA a while back and it was a great experience, so i decided to get this game on steam. but looks like the VR port catastrophically ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up
the game is completely unplayable on PC: the reset button doesn't work half the time, can't place posters so you're basically softlocked after getting an ending, options barely work (OPTIONS bro, how did you manage to ♥♥♥♥ up OPTIONS), the camera keeps snapping to random places, constant lags, freezes, etc.
overall a pretty bitter experience. dragging your balls through a pile of broken glass would be more pleasant than trying to get this game to work, which is a shame since i enjoyed the original PDTA a lot. def refunding that one
