This game can easily destroy decades long friendships and cause rifts in families for an hour or two at a time.

The first day I bought it, I clocked 22 hours.

Literally the greatest globalist downfall simulator I've played.
I have 458 ducks in my house.

14 hours it took me just to finish the very first side quest with the grove. This game has absolutely amazing things in store even if I've never played DnD and haven't played a turn based RPG since Shining Force III. I First time FOMO has been a positive force for me.
I kicked a goblin down into a pit of giant spiders and they thanked me for it.

Every time a guy mentions my haircut, he regrets it.

Outside of being dropped from matches at times during the pre-release beta, which isn't too much of an issue as I've been able to reconnect right away 95% of the time, Darktide is absolutely excellent. If you're a fan of 40k and have been waiting for a game to get the atmosphere, sounds, and gore of 40k correct, this was sent to you by the Emprah himself.
Some maps will drop frames, but it's all to be expected before an official release, and I wholeheartedly believe FS will fix many of the performance issues once they have a large enough sample size to narrow down specific bugs.
Looking very much forward to the next couple of months of content being added, and it's well worth the $40 price tag, it's a fun slough through endless waves of heretics, and for any 40k fan, there is something here for them.

EDIT: Review changed to negative until devs patch. AWOL for months, made me start to dislike the Swedes.
EDIT: 4/4/23: Almost 6 months later and content was added, six more months and it will be a solid game. Changed to recommended
EDIT: 10/4/23: Exactly 6 months later to the DAY and the talent tree rework is out, DT is solid.
EDIT: 4/10/24:Basically no new content, and I will never buy a Fatshark product again
