S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Ultimate Edition
After playing the game for a bit. I must say I experienced few crashes myself and sudden FPS drops as well even though my PC runs it most of the time at stable 60fps at Epic settings, yet the fps stutters are there especially in Town areas. (A lot of NPCs)

Current:
PROS.
+ Love for the studio & franchise. Hope they will fix and mod support the hell out of this thing.

+ Story Continuity and Cinematics are very nice touch compared to predecessors. Feels like we are leaning slightly to Metro storytelling with the Freedom of Stalker map exploring. (Mama likes.)

+ Animations

+ Nice and Simple Inventory System (APART from quick use)

+ Good Visuals & Art

+ Re-hauling of Mutants and Zone vs Hostile Human NPCs to be the biggest threat compared to older games.
(ex. flash eye used to be just slightly slower tankier blind dog, now with the leaping they are more of menace. As I think they with other mutants should be. Same for anomalies, one-tick Damage from anomaly should be close to death or death experience. Zone is not forgiving.)

NEUTRAL
+ Game looks beautiful. Once modders relase some atmospheric colour grading/visuals mods it will be amazing. Because now it looks like off-brand Call of Duty. The old Grizzly Stalker feel is not necessarily there, atm.

+ Extreme modding potential

CONS
- Currently buggy as hell.
No need for explanation.

- Wonky & Sluggish Combat
(I feel like sponge shooting other sponges instead of hard cover to cover movements and shooting at enemies, see= Escape from Tarkov, Call of Pripyat with Gamma+Anomaly) Enemies hardly take cover or do some maneuvering. Just hard path finding to you. I could write the same AI engagement in few weeks in Unreal. I understand that there is power in simplicity but damn.. Try to stay with the curve.

------ A-Life is non-existent enemies just spawn near you/at objectives

- Guns Break extremely Fast
After few small engagements you find yourself with completely broken gun.

- Enemies are bullet sponges
(Need hardcore damage model for both enemies and player character. Ex. I refuse to belive that bloodsucker should eat up 3 mags of 5.45×39mm in point blank)

- Game Economy
I might be too used to Anomaly and Gamma but there is need for hardcore maintenance. I mean.. its missing. You just buy and sell stuff with small upgrades along the way.

- Weird ass controls, Rebinding is a must.
(Ex. Not sure why we stepped away from F1 to F4 quick use. Probably because of consoles but jesus... Q and E keys are for leaning.. Common. Gaming 101)

- Stamina and the Amount of Weight you can carry sucks
The quickness with which you lose stamina is brutal, energy drinks compared to older games dont do s**t. Would be nice to have adjustable carry weight. If some people like to play like a scout carrying one mission at the time supplies so be it. But I as many I hope. Like to pack for long trips to the zone. = Add backpack upgrades or harder buffs to exoskeleton....

Summary = 6.5/10
Slight let down after this many years of waiting. Like, hell I am 27 now, played the first games as kid.
Has amazing potential and I pray on my knees they will polish it.
Will edit with time but this is the current feel.
