First of all, I will be basing this review on my personal preferences / computer setup
( My setup [i.imgur.com] ).
That said;

I find it important to realize that game size makes a huge difference in how efficient this tool will be to you based on the amount of RAM you have. For example;
If you have 8gb of ram, you may dedicate approximately 3-4gb to a ramdrive (a dimmdrive), and you could easily load up say.. Ragnarok online (1) entirely, because the total size of it is 2gb. And for slower PC's this makes quite a lot of difference in loading times especially since RO1 has tons of loading screens.

On the other hand i see that many negative reviews sit around with SSD's and a next gen graphics card.. Obviously it wont make a huge difference when your setup is already handling the data with rapid speeds, but know that even with a monster computer you can still make huge differences in loading times! See below.

If you are like me, and play skyrim / fallout with tons and tons of graphics mods and other mods, then this tool will make a huge difference in the loading of said mods no matter how beast your computer is. Personally I've had loads of joy using this tool for that purpose alone.

So all in all, I would reccomend this game to everyone that:
  • Want to run already slow-loading games faster!
  • Does not have the money for SSD's!
  • Have decent (non-monster) computers but want a speed boost!
  • Make renders in Maya and similar heavy req programs.
I would not reccomend this for people that;
  • Only play solitaire
  • Already have good loading times
  • Does not know what RAM even is.
P.S. Do not base this review on the time i've spent on it in steam. I just now got the key for steam.

Anyways, I seriously urge people to try this tool out, and see how it can benefit you best! I love it!

Hey there, just read your review, very nice! I've heard some amazing things about Dimmdrive and Skyrim, and just this week a couple people PM'd me saying how well it worked for Fallout 3. Very cool! I also just found out Fallout 3 has an online mod? How crazy is that!

Great write-up!
