I play a lot of idlers while I work and this one is just meh.
Honestly though? It's cute enough for the price if you're not expecting much.
I was pulled in by my collect-a-thon nature and the lil' tiny screen.
But I'm turned off by the lack of appropriate drop scaling.

This is a true idler I barely look at but it's not satisfying at all to try and complete.
The various potions you can buy do almost nothing for your drop rate.
I don't understand why shiny fish are so hard to capture when there's no aquarium system lol

It's likely going to take hundreds more hours just to get all the catch achievements.
Now I'm stuck in that limbo of "Do I drag this on just to get the achievements or put it aside?"

From what I've seen, the dev tends to release games and abandon them.
Looking for a cute fishing idler with great art an active dev that implements QoL changes?

This is an mmo for people who don't want to actively play a game.
Which is a shame because the base idea is really something special. :]
I think a giant map where the whole world is shaped by the players is a great idea.
And I like the art style quite a bit!

However, there's no real immersion for me when it comes to interacting or combat.
it feels like an idle game with the added annoyance of Point & Click walking.
With how grindy it is, planned wipes during EA makes it even less appealing for me.

Definitely wait for now and see where things go.

Don't recommend it in it's current state. The visuals alone are giving me massive headaches and migraines because of how blurry/foggy it is. There is no way to change MOST visual settings, and no way to fix this. The game itself is fun enough. The skill system and skills themselves are the only things that really set it apart from other survival crafts to me. But I CANNOT play more than a few minutes without my eyes watering. So it's just a ridiculous NO from me for that.

When I went to look for answers about the graphics issues, I found the community page is already littered with charged and toxic discussions about gender, human rights, and multiple claims of censorship from Jagex when people are expressing their displeasure or opinions about A/B body types? In 2025? Yikes.

I'd avoid this one for now.

They gave players a few weeks notice that online functionality would no longer be available and to download your save files. This was UNDER A YEAR after release? I went to check the game today and was severely disappointed to find out 70+ hours of progress, exploring, and LOVING the game was gone. I will not be buying a game from this company ever again.

No spoilers but the game has so much character and stupid silly moments.

The only thing I still love about this game is the aesthetic and the premise of an afk plant game. What first felt fun eventually just felt tedious and boring. Every single plant has parasites and needs watering every single launch, even if you just checked an hour ago. There were game breaking bugs TWICE that wouldn't count the research I completed. (Which prevented me from getting all the achievements and having to start over two times) It's been out over a year and the core mechanics of the game still have these bugs? Really disappointing for such a genuinely cute looking game. Unfortunately looks don't carry a game, game-play does.
