Another awesome game fromsoftware made. Combining mech combat and soulslike game play, you have everything you can want, fast paced deadly combat in boss and elite encounters and free range easy one-2 shot grunts to wet the appetite decent story and awesome atmosphere in the game with a bit of mystery. Lots of customization and build options fit for all kinds of play styles.

At least right now i have yet to encounter any bugs or glitches and the game is running like butter on my system with no noticeable frame drops or lag spikes.

The online pvp i have yet to try so cannot comment right now( ill maybe update it later if i remember it :D )

Overall It is a strong recomendation to all players who like mechs/challenging gameplay/ enjoyed the soul series or sekiro - elden ring / or like shooters. There is something for everyone, that is if you are not one of the game journalist skill level people and cannot beat the tutorial boss.

The game even after more than a year of release is till buggy and the AI like most recent TW games derpy and broken. Multiple times getting war declared on you by enemies that are far from your territory like 4-5 different countries between you and them. ( Was playing Throgg and fighting kislev but suddenly several high elf factions declared war on me...) That includes when they are losing in another or multiple wars and still send half or more of their force to attack you( Same Throgg playthrough, 2 full stacks of elves sailed towards my towns while using agents i saw that their settlements were getting raped by Slaaneshi faction and Vampire count. By the time they got to me and i destroyed their stacks they had lost all their settlements and were wiped out in the next turn... And this happens from time to time) Units getting stuck and afk in battle map when on offensive. Once I waited for like 30 minutes and only after i sent all my ranged units exausted their ammo, sent my mage and used up all my winds of magic and had destroyed like 60% of the enemy army they started attacking. From a battle that i would have lost 2(1 elite) stacks vs 1 stack (average units) I won. The first time this happens you feel lucky and happy but when it happens 5 or more times you become disappointed.

Then the dlc policy, CA always had scummy practices, ( I really liked the chaos dwarf dlc from the gameplay/content scale. I can compromise for it to be more expensive) But when CA announces news dlcs and they are less content,less units/mechanics but still cost the same or more than their good and full of content dlc's. That takes it too far.

To this day there are still several factions that have outdated mechanics or have not been loved for many years. ( Dwarves, Especially norsca, Tomb kings, Vampire counts and Vampire coast needs some love too)

Multiple achievements still not working for Immortal empire

I love this series but I cannot with clear conscience say that this game is good or recommend it( Mods as always fix many of the flaws but this is the modders credit and should not be taken for granted)
The game without mods is 6/10 , with mods it can go up to 9/10 . My suggestion is buy it only when it is on sale, the dlc also buy it only when they have 40% or more discount.

I was really waiting for this game when it was announced, but now as it is abandoned i can only say that overall it is a big disappointment. It lacks units and a huge number of named characters are still using generic art and models, with no unique items.
Disclaimer! Yes mods fix quite a few of the flaws, more units/more art and models and so on but that is the workers credit and in no way CA's who abandoned this game and didn't fully finish it.

The AI especially in base game still does derpy stuff like rushing the player with 90% of their forces while they are at war with 2 or more enemies and said enemies are sieging there towns.. In battles sometimes even when they are the ones attacking the AI simply stands for 10-20 minutes waiting for god knows what. On other times the AI simply does not react when under fire by artillery and ranged troops. Also had a several times when the duel system broke down and the enemy lord simply took free dmg without defending( the most memorable was guan yu simply going afk and getting killed by my useless scholar who i sent to buy time but ♥♥♥♥, the scholar beat guan yu.) Mods fix a lot of these problems but from time to time they still occur.

A huge disappointment that they didn't do the spring and autumn period, which i wanted equally or maybe a bit more than 3 kingdoms.

Without mods this game compared to all the other TW entries is 5/10 with mods it goes up to 8/10. Although i like the game with mods but as a base game i cannot recommend it, buy it only when it and all of the dlc you want are on massive sale.

No amount of words will do this game justice. So just try it yourself...

Game is poorly balanced with some of the nations having significant advantages over others, and some of the ships being incredibly unviable and weak compared to others of its class and type. The exp and money grind is very heavy here and the cash shop dominates, its pay2progress and semi pay2win. After that the game developers are scummy and belong to white knight, social justice warrior type and have banned and cut off partners and streamers that do not conform to their political ideas, such as Arch(A bit right leaning youtube content creator who likes spicy jokes and is heavily anti sjw/wk/diversity crowds/feminazi). If you can get through all the above , the game it self is about 6-7/10 but that scores is based on you having at least some ships that you like being good at the curent meta. And also either being patient enough to last the grind or just paying some money to get what you like and sticking to it. Although i mainly played it outside the steam version through their own launcher, clocking about ~500h give or take. I sadly cannot recommend this game to people because of the previously stated reason.

One of the best strategy games of all times, and lets face it most likely the only option for grand strategy in this time period.
Wish there were more worthy contenders but well that is how it is with strategy, its a niche game and Europa Universalis IV covers that craving of dominating the world through various ways.

2018 / 6 / 9 The game still has most of the problems it had in early access, they are more focused on milking us through skins than to fixing the game.

2021/08/05 They fixed a considerable number of bugs, the game is more optimized and less laggy. But there still a lot of cheaters, there are also a lot of players from asia with vpn's and most of your team mates will most likely be someone from Turkey in a gaming room (when they speak you can hear 20 more people near them). They still dont have a decent training mode(because the one they have is a subpar). If your looking for variety you wont find in this game because they dont really add any new guns into existing maps, the only exceptions are if they release a new map then they might add 1-2 new ones that only work in that map so if variety is your spice of life pubg is not it.
Ranked is a mixed bag from one side it is far more enjoyable and good experience than playing normal with half of a team of bots but from other side progression can be fustrating if you play without a full premade group, since the random que is a mess you can get into a team of gunho loons that jump into the first hotspot(most of the time they also the first to die in the entire server) or massive campers that sit in one places for half an hour.
If you can get past that its decent but the reward are a bit meh (Parachutes that on lower graphics look like grey blobs and a bit more interesting icons) Most of the cosmetics are from cash shop only, the only ones free(bough by game currency) are awful.\
Curiuosly right now pubg is neither a realistic shooter survival nor an arcade one, its somewhere in between. If you want a better alternatives there are Escape from Tarkov for players wanting more realism or variety and Apex legends for those who want more arcade style shooter. PUBG ekes out a barely 5/10.

Well, i saw a lot of people encountering problems with the game in technical side. As for me the only technical side problem i had was when one time the game simply didn't want to load my save game.

As for problems witht the gameplay most of them at least from my side are either lore related or mostly in diplomacy ai who for some reason loves to wage war againts people he has no borders or even no emnity against.

The game itself is tons of fun and a lot more challenging than before, the battlefield Ai reacts a lot more and is far more aggressive and proactive, giving a decent challenge. The upkeep economy system is a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in vanilla so if you don't like to be really resticted the radious mod solves pretty much everything tho it also makes the enemy and yourself engage in dozens of battles in a turn since the enemy can and will churn stacks to boomrush you into hell.

All of the factions are different and play differently, making playing each one a completely new and fresh experence.

The game looks stunning and the game performance even on mid end pc is quite decent and doesn't pose too much problems for the enjoyment of the game.

Mainly I miss the blood and gore wich obviously will come later as dlc, but apart from it the game trully seems complete and not half baked like some previous ones. If they keep it up the expansions will make it one of the best if not THE best total war yet.
