I hate the Marvel and multiverse stuff, but I still really enjoy this game.

Goes to show that it's not all about what brand you are in the industry. That definitely brought more eyes to this, but it would've died if it were another full copy of the genre figureheads. This one stands on its own two feet strongly. It's fun and simple to understand if you've played other hero shooters.

I'm also using this as my proof that Unreal 5 is a great engine if you care about using it properly. Rivals has an exceptional visual style that isn't just "le realism" and it's made in Unreal 5. Excellent use of the tools at hand by NetEase here.
