A very relaxing game where you fish day in and day out completely normally, without anything weird ever happening.

No man's sky meets terraforming mars meets subnautica. Even in early access, a lot of fun if you're into the craft & research kind of genre. A little shallow and gets grindy at times before you unlock a few key researches. It is very pleasant to watch the planet transform around you slowly when you're doing stuff. Just want more content now, and a little bit of polish.

Expect some early access stuff, like clipping through terrain, items disappearing randomly, but all things considered very small things and very rarely. Only had one crash during 50 hours of gameplay.

Very much waiting for this to finish up and get more content.

Buggy mess with super slow animations makes the game really annoying to play. Just play the board game instead.

As a bonus, they didn't proofread the achievements, they have typos...

Fun, simple game. Well worth the money if you're looking for a casual left-handed wizardry.

Played the tutorial. Way too many arbitrary rules that change on the fly without any good indication. Art style is messy and unclear. Very generic tactics game with no new ideas. Bonus: after tutorials, went to create a deck only to find that all but 2 races had to be bought separately.

Cashgrab with nothing new to offer.

A very touching story attached to a pleasant fluid platformer/metrovania with excellent controls. Very cute without being obnoxious. (Which is hard to do.) I'm not usually a platformer or metrovania player, but I enjoyed the entire game (apart from one level which breaks the fast paced fluidity tempo of the game). Definetly worth a playthrough.

Absolutely average (sometimes dips way below average, never goes above average) and definitely not worth 30 euro.

Story was boring, generic and driven very poorly by cheap narrative tricks and plot twists "NOBODY COULD SEE COMING". They really lean into the whole Finnish thing; at first it's cute and gives the game some personality it otherwise lacks, but after being bombarded with cheap cop out "suomi mainittu" jokes for the entirety of the game, it just annoyed the piss out of me.

Characters had absolutely no personality. Especially the player character is such a boring excuse for a character, the only good thing about her is that the voice actor matches the character in her very stale performance. Ahti, the finnish janitor this game is really about is about the only character with _any_ personality at all, and his personality is that he is Finnish. Or rather, a cheap caricature of finnish movie characters. All he does is spout idioms that have been purposefully badly translated, and he hums. At least they made the gameplay match his theme: it's about as fun as you can have at the dentist.

Gameplay followed suit with ultimately generic, average and some of the time very frustrating waves of generic enemies. The game will try to convince there are dozens of different types of enemies, but you only have two different types with some minor variations: Flying and not flying. All the weapons are absolute garbage apart from the totally not sniper rifle -sniper rifle. Launch is the only thing that deals any meaningful damage. Most of the time you find yourself sitting behind a pillar, waiting for your energy to come back so you can go throw a few more things before you come back to recharge. The enemies are either completely passive, or ultra aggressive, there is nothing in between. At least you have all these memorable bosses like "FIELD AGENT HZ-006" and "OPERATIVE NF-792" and you can't forget "RANGER CHAD".

The milieu, strange quantum ♥♥♥♥ and cool gadgets (Altered objects and objects of power) are the only part of the game I really enjoyed, but you get maybe 10 minutes of gameplay that use those aspects to their advantage, and instead they want to really focus on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cutscenes.

Oh man, the controls. It's kind of ironic how badly you can mess up the controls in a game called "Control". They have the classic issue of "Not many button on controller" so they do the obvious thing: everything is context sensitive and same buttons do multiple different things. Now, this isn't necessary a bad thing, a lot of games do this rather well, but Control... doesn't. And of course it's a console port, so you can't spread these different things on different buttons on KB & M, but launch has two different buttons by default? Levitation is an absolute wreckfest, it's so sensitive to double or triple taps of the space bar, that you will end up falling very slowly to your death at least 10 times before you figure the unintuitive mess out.

All in all, the whole ~9 hours of gameplay Control offers with some sidequests and tons of post-campaign end game content (Why is this even here when the campaign itself is such an unfinished mess?) it was one of the most frustratingly below average games I have played in a long, LONG time. I wanted to give remedy a chance (Again, thanks Alan Wake) but I ended up really angry that I paid 30 euro for this game. I definetly do not recommend this game to anyone.

You can form a dinosaur convoy with your friends, hunt raptors and get killed by prehistoric dragonflies. I rate this game Carnosaur/T-rex.

I get what the game is trying to do, but it's not succeeding in any way. I like the premise of the game, 40-something year old, suicidal woman as a protagonist, you don't see that very often. But that's pretty much where all the good things end in this game.

The artstyle is pretentious, choppy and ugly. Some might think it's artistic and retro, but it really isn't, it's just plain old ugly. Dialogue is horrible, both voice acting and writing. Every character sounds the same, and every character is very monotone and single-minded. I get that they were going for grim, dark, depressed style of feeling, but it just comes off as boring.

As for boring, that's what the gameplay is, among other things. All the puzzles are incredibly easy, but at the same time take a lot of work, walking around, looking for arbitrary hints that might be objects you can interact with, or just part of the backround, you can never tell. It's a point and click adventure, without the point, the click or the adventure.

To top it all off, controls are horrible and clunky, the whole game is unresponsive and unstable, the settings don't seem to do anything and if you try to put it on fullscreen, it just freezes on startup. (Even when run in a window, it took several minutes to go from "is it frozen?" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it took that long to launch?!")

All in all, I can't recommend the game in any way. It had potential, but nothing came of it.
