Having just finished episode one I have to admit that I enjoy seeing Dontnod do what they do best, Giving us a gripping story that starts off based in reality and then moves over to the surreal pretty quickly. Tell Me Why feels unique but still carries with it a familiar aesthetic charm that we saw in LIS2. Alaska is represented beautifully here. Our two main protagonists are both interesting in their own unique ways and both are voice acted well. I'm really looking forward to the next episode!

The problem Dontnod face is that they need to try and get out from under the shadow of Life Is Strange. They set the bar high from the beginning and unfortunately its the game they continue to be marked against.

Is Tell Me Why a good game? yes.
Is Tell Me Why better or as good as Life Is Strange? Oh heavens no.

But by treating the game as its own thing, almost as if it weren't made by Dontnod, Is it then a game worthy of your time? I think so. There's enough mystery here to keep you interested across all 3 chapters.
