This has quickly become one of my favorite RTS games.

+Positives+
For those who played Company of Heroes 1, older Blitzkrieg games and Men of War, this is an obvious choice.
Difficulty setting ranges from relaxing and easy to excitingly unforgiving.
The game offers wide variety of gameplay and unit options with each army, even customization of units down to each individual soldier and his weapon and helmet which carries over between the Conquest missions so that everything you've captured or picked up, loaded into truck or else, stays with you until you lose it in combat somehow.
A nifty feature this game has is direct unit control. It lets you to take manual control of a single soldier or vehicle in both top down and third person view, allowing you to make a real difference on the ground yourself, if the situation demands it.
I am not much of a linear campaign player, but the game offers sprawly sets of linear missions for each nation.
Dynamic campaign is a wonderful offense-defense based set of randomized missions in between which you prepare your unit composition. It feels more like each battle is a fresh skirmish, but with your veteran army you have built along the way.
Then of course, battles and skirmishes for both singleplayer and multiplayer.

-Negatives-
Controls might feel a little clumsy and not immediately responsive, especially in third person direct control mode. This comes in the form of unpleasant "freezes" of your character or vehicle mid-animation, preventing any action for a brief moment. It is consistent enough, so you can likely get used to it.
Fog of war is slightly misleading, even though it feels like the more interesting way to play the game. Units tend to ignore it at times, shooting accurately without direct line of sight. This applies to both, your units and enemies. At times your men will shoot at enemy that you can not even see indicated on the map or in the field.
There are still a few bugs, but all in all the fun this game offers easily outweights them.
