Support Gladius in the hopes of getting the full array of factions added to the game.

The Land Raider is a late game transport primarily existing to give Terminators a leg up in the mobility game, attempting to eliminate their one weakness. I've not actually used the Land Raider since by time I get Termies I'm usually closing out the game, or using other units instead like the Dreadnaught. I think its useful for what it does but I've not yet felt the need to use it for what its for. It also has a fair amount of guns and armor so unlike most other transports it can actually function as a battle tank rather than a glorified bus. As with all ground transports you can load units into it then use the Space Marine's drop pods to launch it into battle like the galaxy's worst surprise party (at least from the other guys' perspectives) for the cost of only a single drop-pod.

Immortals are up-armored Necron Warriors with a .5 upkeep cost increase and Tesla Carbines rather than the standard Gauss Rifles. I use Immortals quite a lot as they're a useful upgrade from Necron Warriors without really being a total replacement for them. Their increased cost and not having the rapid fire or "gauss" trait means they're not a total replacement for Necron Warriors but they make a very nice backline anti-infantry force able to do full damage from 2 range even if the damage is slightly lower than a range 1 gauss rifle barrage. Over all they're pleasantly versatile and round out the Necron's infantry force.

The Stormtrooper unit is in much the same position as the Immortal except they're a bit more of an explicit upgrade from the regular Guardsman troop. Being elite troopers with more armor, more powerful weapons and a slightly lower model count they're slightly less vulnerable to blast attacks and output more damage. With a good food economy you generally want to replace your Guardsmen with Stormtroopers as even with the increased upkeep cost they carry their own weight quite a bit better than the cannon fodder starter unit.

The neutral unit added to the game, the Neophyte hybrid is a cute bit of variation to the "fauna" of Gladius, just giving the roaming packs of violent vagrants a little bit of a ranged threat. They're kind of just a bonus and aren't worth much mention.

Flash Gitz, a name I unfortunately associate with some jackass animators, are an honestly much needed piece of heavy ranged fire power for the Orks. I don't really play Orks much since they don't really gel with me for some reason but they give the normally rather flimsy Ork mobs a rather nasty 2 range bite that can tear apart infantry formations with their heavy kustom gunz.
