Not worth $5. It's a newgrounds flash game from 2006

Neat

The multiplayer needs a bit of a love. Maybe add an artifact that makes cash and items shared? Also, after 6pm EST the entire game is Japanese! Nothing wrong with Japanese players, but please make it possible to open a lobby as a host, and wait for players/ have full control/ kick nonlocal players! About half of the pub lobbies you join are toxic/ want certain things and will empty fast if they see something they dont like.

Progression is 50/50. Half of the progression is natural and exciting, the other half (ability unlocks) is redundant and a bit archaic/nonfun. There is a site you can use to bust out an altered batch file to unlock everything! I used it and now have everything unlocked. I was tired of the glitched/ nearly unattainable abilities.

Overall, the game is fun. It's a great session for casuals, its a great game for numberphiles.

Graphics- 7/10. Eclectic/ semi cell shaded influence.

Performance- i9 2080, Runs like butter at max settings, max fps

Gameplay Loop- 8/10 solo, 8.5/10 pub, 9/10 w friends.


Overall- Highly Recommended. 8.5/10

Not that good. Progression is bad, the game takes forever to get anywhere and its honestly a bit too unforgiving to new players. I got it for $5 and i dont think its even worth that.

Is this game for preteens? I truly just don't understand why this game has such a staggeringly high number of positive reviews. What's the point? I spawn in, dig a hole and build wooden armor. Fight some zombies and uninstall. I've done this probably 10 times over the last decade and still have gotten bored within 5/10 minutes each time. It's just garbage.

Controls arent very good or intuitive on PC, and with a 2D scroller, thats everything. Not Recommended.

Why is this free? It's better than most games coming out nowadays.

also, if you just play the campaign it will crash and not allow you to finish the campaign. I've literally never gotten more than like 5 missions into it over 30 runs. Weird, right?
