Where the Oddness began. And where one of the brightest childhood memories of mine also began.

Hard not to love a game that has so much love put into it. The characters, the fleshed out world, the artstyle, visuals, humor, story, lore it's all there. As a kid this game's strangeness blew me away, the fun and challenging gameplay did the same. Using gamespeak you have to save your fellow mudokens from the evil Glukkons... or not. You can lead them to amusing deaths as well and just get the bad ending. It's all up to you. You can rush through if you wish.

Be ready for oddness, for challenge, for visuals that look amazing to this day and for one helluva ride through Rupture Farms.

Pop some mentats, grab a Nuka-Cola and have a blast. Don't let my time on this game fool you, I have played it through at least 4 times outside Steam, if I had played it with Steam (at the time) I think would have at least 80-100h on it.

Fallout, where it all started. The atmosphere, the ambient music, the amazing characters, the vast interesting world, the combat system there is nothing I can name that I do not love about Fallout. The many different playstyles you can go at this game makes each new playthrough a fresh experience. This is and always will be a game I come back to time to time like a really good book you just want to pick up and read through at least once a year. The immersion alone makes this game a treat.

Definitely a masterpiece that to this day is with great looking visuals, immersive world and just plain fun gameplay.

Getting into this game now, after all these years... was a no go.

I tried, I really tried since I've read so many good reviews about it and many people calling it the origin of Bioshock and due to the love I have for that game I just HAD to give it a shot. But I just couldn't. The game feels incredibly aged, clunky and unintuitive. I think this is one of those games that if you hadn't played it at the time it was new, gotten into it then you won't get it cause now it has aged poorly.

Gave it a shot, didn't enjoy it at all. Don't think it has aged well.

Played it on the XBOX 360 when it came out. Big hype around it. And well worth the wait.

It's a whole lot of fun pulling off those parkour moves that this game bases on. The story wasn't that interesting or original but the main character is likeable and fun to control. Oh, the controls. They take some getting used to but man oh man are they great when you finally start landing a bunch of cool tricks/moves.

It's short, lacks a bit of content but for what it has to offer I definitely recommend picking this up but at a discount price.

Came to this after the soul crushing disappointment that was Diablo 3 with high hopes of an ARPG hack 'n' slash game that I could call my own and love.

Bland. Uninteresting. Boring. Loot didn't catch my eye either and I'm big on games that have loot. Felt generic and the artstyle also felt like absolutely NOTHING new or eye pleasing. I played the first Torchlight and that one got boring after a few hours as well.

I don't know what it is about this game but it just can't keep my attention, I always end up just re-installing Diablo 2, playing it for a while and leaving satisfied. I never left satisfied with any Torchlight game.

If you're hardcore for ARPG Hack 'N' Slash perhaps this will tickle your fancy but if you look for more than just Hack 'n' Slash gameplay - stay clear.

After burning out on Left 4 Dead (the first one) on the XBOX 360 I have never really looked back and getting into L4D2. Still haven't really.

I am interested in re-trying to get into this game after I clear some space on my backlog, but for now it collects dust.

Some like this one better over the original, I like the original over this one. But having 2 games of the same type of gameplay with basically nothing new? I don't think it's worth the money.

Personally, I haven't enjoyed this one that much and liked the first one more. Maybe I will like it better after a while. Will see. But my advice is to check out the first one.

Frustrating? Yes.

Music that has nothing to do with the timing of your jumps/actions? Yes.

Incredibly difficult with no checkpoints? Yes.

Do I hate this game for ever playing it, getting an achievement and ruining my completion average? Yes.

Will I still try to get some more achievements and actually finish the game? Yes.

Is it a rhythm game? No.

Are you masochistic? You will love this game. Do you get a hardon from insane difficulty? You will love this game. Do you love repetitive music and gameplay? You will love it.

If nothing of the above has interested you, then save yourself a small amount of dosh and ignore this frustrating piece of vidya. I hear the 2nd one is far better and not so frustrating. Maybe check out that. But let this one rot and don't resurrect it.

Since I absolutely love Overlord I just jump with joy for this expansion. Why? Well simply because then I can play even more Overlord!

10/10 would raise hell.

Played the living hell out of this game when it came out ont he XBOX 360. Loved it so much just HAD to buy it for the PC as well. Sadly I mostly played the X360 version and when I got bored of it didn't really get into the PC one cause I felt burned out.

Now I do still keep it in my backlog as a game I wanna 100% regarding achievements but I can't say it ever raises my interest to really get back into it and play it.

It's really fun, great mechanics regarding the zombies and how they react as well as the special infected but I feel burned out regarding this game. Perhaps I need some friends to CO-OP with and that would breathe in it's second life but for now it collects dust.

I've played L4D2 just a little bit but from the impression I got from that game I concluded that I enjoyed the first one better.

Get it on sale and get some buddies to play it with, the AI will get you tearing your hair out at times due to how unhelpful they will be.
