I love this game although even as a huge DD fan, I wish there could've been more. The core gameplay is definitely fantastic, but in some other parts it felt lacking. The story felt all over the place and lacked depth, in some cases, it doesn't even make sense. It felt rushed and I can definitely say that the game feels unfinished.

While there's many, many things that can be improved upon, it's still a fantastic game. DD1/DDDA is huge reason why I love RPGs and playing this game made me nostalgic, it's nice. The pawn system, the combat, exploration, etc. is just overall really fun and some things felt straight upgrade from the first game.

Why do I still recommend this game? It's still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun.
