This is a wonderful and challenging game. There are multiple playable characters each with multiple unique play styles, and they are all pretty well balanced, you can occasionally luck into a beast of a character that steamrollers everything, but even then avoiding death can be harder than it seems. There are multiple source of randomness which make every run different, but I've never seen the RNG produce something that couldn't make it through the game. I love this game and keep coming back to it when I have a spare hour or two - which is my only criticism, in single player you can save at the end of each chapter and resume later, but in multiplayer you are all committed to "finish" the game - which can take a long time on the higher difficulties and playing carefully.

This is a great game, and unique, there's no other game quite like it. You can travel between planets, reshape them, set up bases, mining camps, and wide ranging exploration. The research and crafting are well done, and I've only just scratched the surface of the new automation features.
I've got 700 hours in this game so I think it's safe to assume that I really enjoy it.

I am enjoying this game immensely, it may not be very polished yet, but the developers are very active on their discord and very responsive. The community on the discord is also very friendly.
The game has some similarities to Factorio and Satisfactory, but it is a very different take on the Genre: Your goal is to teach robots to maintain a group of increasingly demanding colonists. This will involve building and staffing resource processing areas, tool factories, component factories, and yes, robot factories. While you could in theory do everything yourself, indeed initially you tend to do too much yourself, in practice, you should make a bot do it. In fact you can create work teams for tasks like "land clearance", whose work area is determined by a sign, move the sign to a new area, and the team follows.
The only real negatives at the moment are:
1) The interface lacks discoverability: bots can do things that aren't immediately obvious; you can interact with bots in ways that aren't obvious - for instance you can upgrade bots piecemeal, you don't have to replace them with a new, better bot.
2) The wiki is a barren wasteland populated with severely out-dated information, but there is currently a major community effort, assisted by Denki, to address this.
3) Bug reporting is currently done through their discord, which is not ideal, but again there are efforts in progress to address this issue.

Summary: Today this is a great game with some flaws and blemishes, but the developers are committed to addressing this, and it is improving almost daily.

This is a wonderful game, I loved every minute of my time with it, even the combat which I found somewhat frustrating. The way the game is delivered as consecutive 3rd person set pieces eliminates any hint of motion sickness, and the individual set pieces encourage you take full advantage of your superior position to peer round corners and over walls.

I can't wait for future content and installments.

The building portion of the game may turn out to be quite good, but the skiing section ruins the game: it's poorly thought out, with nonsensical controls (use CTRL to crouch/jump - but not right control, oh no, only left), and some ridiculous camera system that I couldn't be bothered to work out as it starts out broken.

A truly great and satisfying game let down by sloppy controls and annoying combat. There are numerous puzzles that require relatively precise jumping, and the controls let you down time after time, I believe that there are physics bugs in the player control as well as sometimes you'll bounce up onto a thing and stop and other times you'll go sliding off. The combat is... initially frustrating and now just boring, you'll pull off one of the horrible jump sequences and just as you are about to claim your reward you hear the awful "enemies" noise and something will shoot you and force you to start again.
I *love* the puzzle aspects of the game, the platforming could also be great fun, although currently it's annoying in equal measure; but the combat has no real redeeming features at all.

Early Access Review
This is an amazingly polished game given that it's early access, I've played solo, 2 player co-op, and 3 player co-op, and it's a blast. The difficulty scales from a slight challenge all the way to 'I can't finish a level at this difficulty... yet' and while I suspect that long term they're going to need to provide a deeper upgrade tree and harder levels for high level teams, the current game will easily justify the price. The solo game is surprisingly satisfying, 'Bosco' provides more than adequate support, although it's current tendency to repeatedly interrupt actions that take time is a little annoying. The rooms and tunnels in each of the level types vary between claustrophobic, through dizzyling tall, to dauntingly vast. After 50+ hours, I really have nothing bad to say about this game, and I'm still having a load of fun.
