Got the game after seeing clips on TikTok. Thought I'd give it a try and now that I have here are my thoughts:

It's ALMOST there. It has everything it needs and yet it feels like there's something missing. Granted it's only one guy working on this which is already pretty impressive but that doesn't take away from the fact that it needs a bit more polish. There are A LOT of bugs, some of which even persisting through restarts of the game itself but that's to be expected of an early access game that, again, only ONE guy is working on.

However, in terms of recommending this game. I can't say I'd do that just yet. There's a lot of work that still needs to be done before I can start glazing this potential masterpiece. This isn't to say the creator themselves isn't doing enough, on the contrary I see this game getting updates and patches every so often which means effort IS being made to better the player experience. I just hope that given enough time we could see the open world, custom character Dragon Ball game that we've all been waiting for but Bandai-Namco are cowardly to give us.

To the creator:

Keep pushing. Keep building. I need this game to be good. So desperately I want this game to be good. Realize the vision.

What is this? A polished product? Fun Gameplay? MORE THAN ONE SHADOW STAGE??? If they keep this up then I might actually think they care about the franchise again.


Jokes aside though, I am over the moon that this ended up not being another "Episode of Shadow incicident" like Forces. They gave us an actual story, they gave Edgy the Hedgy EMOTIONS! My goat is finally getting the respect he's so desparately needed from the Sonic Team. lets hope this is a good omen for things to come. Give us more like this, Sonic Team.

You no longer need a PSN account, faith is restored now I can get back to spreading Democracy

Playing this is more fun than playing current day Overwatch. Save yourself the trouble, uninstall overwatch and play Paladins if you wanna play a Hero Shooter.

I beg everyone reading this to reconsider installing this game. Go play Team Fortress 2, or ♥♥♥♥ even stuff like Rainbow Six or, and I can't believe I'm saying this, Paladins. This game is a husk of what it used to be and it makes me sad. Activision Blizzard has beat this IP into the ground and continue to milk it for all its worth.

I'd rather the game just be dead at this point. Release finished, balanced heroes for once and I might reconsider.

Gonna be honest, Asking someone to explain this game is like trying to explain Multiverse Theory to a literal ape. There is so much to do and so many different game modes to enjoy. Ive been a returning player to this game since I was an early teen and I've realized this game has survived as long thanks to just the pure scale of it all, the sheer, overwhelming amount of content provided by the playerbase alone is enough to keep you playing for YEARS. not days, not weeks, not months, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ YEARS.
