THIS GAME IS NOT FREE TO PLAY. As much as I love and am addicted to this game, I genuinely cannot recommend this game for new people who want to find a new game to play. UNLESS you want to pay for the dlc's theres almost nothing to do, Raids, Trials and Dungeons are the only part of this game that has me coming back, The first and second of which (generally) require a group of 2-5 friends to play with. There are community made tools to find people to play with, The PC LFG discord, and Bungie Forums/lfg off the top of my head.
They have slightly solved this issue with Vault Of Glass and Prophecy, Free to Play Raid and dungeon respectively, but to get access to the 4 other raids you must buy every expansion (Forsaken - Last Wish, Shadowkeep - Garden Of Salvation, Beyond Light - Deep Stone Crypt, and Witch Queen- Vow Of The Disciple). There is supposed to be a new free to play raiding coming within the next few season, so that is a positive.

PvP in this game is not competitive at all, aiming means nothing, perks give you aim assist - and headshot aim assist easily, mods give you even more, abilities and oneshots are way too common, combined with one or two major balance changes every few months, can lead to stagnant metas thats more of a gamble to decide if itll match up with how you like to play, or make life a living hell for the months to come.

If are desperate to find a game you'd want to play, and are willing to spend money to get the full experience, and force your friends to come along with you, or make new ones, this is the game for you.

I want this game to do well, but, please think of yourself before playing.

I'll still keep playing it because i'm addicted.
