Game of the Year 2021 for me.

This is a puzzle box/escape room-ish game with a fun and weird story where one of the bigger puzzles is a deck builder that gets fed into by the other parts of the game.

The deck building and card game itself is incredibly interesting and has a lot of systems going for it, so people who like deck builders can get a great kick out of this. It certainly did for me, since I really dug into Slay the Spire back when it was in early access and after it came out.

For people who are not really that much into deck builders, the game is meant to be beaten. You will get hints, help and other things from "outside" the deck building aspect.

The story has a nice mystery aspect and feels nicely eerie.

Also, if you start the game, let the full intro run through and just don't click through it. :)
