In term's of optimization for the game, they have considered every little bit of detail that they can think of that will make the game run smoother, the amount of graphic options that you get to choose from is outstanding, and gives a variety of options between high end computers and low end.

Story line meet's all expectations from the original Resident Evil and more, giving it not only the nostalgia feeling, but that same old classic butt cheek clenching feeling too.

Graphics are just phenomenalm, out of this world doesn't even come close to describing just how damn good the graphics are for this game. The realistic appearance from the models and the map layout, is honestly quite breathtaking.

Game play despite feeling a bit repetitive, it will always keep you thinking, hence why the game is a survival horror, you sometimes have to think not only ahead of time, but also what has already happened. Though the game play still offers you that challenge to beat the game, there will always be unexpected elements throw at you (cough cough mr x)

Final pro that I just find damn amazing about this game, is that it supports mod's, not many gaming company's of course don't support mods, but I just think it makes the game a lot more fun and strange, it gives the game that little more to enjoy when your finished with it, mods will always make you keep coming back for more at the end of the day.

The extra modes that you will unlock once finishing the game includes a few horde modes, these are very challenging and can be done like speedrun's. On average should take you 5-10mins depending on what horde mode your playing, all of them are very fun and challenging in their own way.

Interesting fact for all you Resident Evil nerds out there, Hunk stands for ( Human unit not killed). Do wish they had more back story on the man though, he is a badass character

Flaws

Rip Hunk's squad, you will be missed dearly.

Wish there were maybe more funny cliche's, I know Resident Evil is serious, but sometimes it just feels a bit too serious.

The extra content story line's, just wanted those to be a little longer.

There are some bugs with the zombie's, once dead or so, the body will act as if it's having a seizure 24/7, along with zombies that fall on top of you, will literally stay on your head like a helmet.

Wish Mr x had more fighting move's and maybe more jump scares

Overall conclusion: I personally love the Resident Evil Franchise, complete respect in Capcom for remaking an old classic, and hope that they keep remastering all the other classics, all in all, can't wait for the next Resident Evil to come out,

Resident Evil village pro's and con's. with all said, I personally would recommend this game to anyone, although not at the full price tag, do get it when there's at least a sale on.

Graphically appealing/amazing

Variety of optimisation in the game settings

Story line telling is good and delivers an emotional gripping experience

Gun play is smooth and easy to handle, very user friendly

Time of day changes as you progress through the story giving it a more surreal experience

Voice acting is entertaining and dialogue yet cheesy at times, I personally think the voice actors did an outstanding job.

Animations for this game feels like your watching a movie instead of playing a game, on top of that is pleasing to watch and overall an enjoyable experience.

Bosses each to their own personality, all offer a very different experience to action and horror game play.

Mods, any game that supports mods makes the game that little more enjoyable in it's own way.

Environment sounds plays a big part in this game, I can confirm that it deeply delivers on that respect.

AI in this game overall is good, not many places that the AI programming bugs out from my experience.

Lighting for the game is decent, in certain environments better than others, and can totally deliver on a hair raising experience.
Con's

Over priced if bought at full price

Game can be graphically demanding for obvious reasons, I do have an RTX AMD 580 Radion graphics card, which meets minimum requirement, although with medium settings, I can still play the game easily without any troubles, but if you want to experience the game at it's full potential, I would advice investing in a new graphic card that can handle this game.

Puzzles for this game are a bit of a let down, a bit too easy for my liking, previous Resident Evil games had much more challenging puzzles than this one.

AI pathing in particular areas can be abused by the player, making it easy to progress through the game

Overall summary

I honestly without a doubt would advice people to get this game, weather your a Resident evil fan or not, the game still offers a horror action packed experience with a story line that you can easily fall in love with. To me this game has a lot to offer, although for it's price I wouldn't advice people to get straight away. Every inch of detail for this game has been looked at and worked on, I respect all the hard work that Capcom have put into this game, although every game does have it's bugs and flaws, I see more positives for this game rather than negatives, which is why I recommend you to buy it.
