This game is extremely short, 6 hours total really, but the replay value is enough for me to have played it for thirteen hours.

But is it really worth it? Every single cent.

GRAPHICS: Are phenomenal, even for a pixelated game. There's so much emotion put into the protagonist's sprites, even for a lone swordsman who doesn't know who he is. Same can be said for the ambient, it's extremely detailed, such as Chinatown and the Rooftop.

GAMEPLAY: Is brutal and extremely fast. You can take your own pace by stealthing lots of parts, but you'll have to learn how to take on several enemies at once. The slow-mo mechanic is quite fun and takes you out of a pinch, although with enough practice you won't really need it.

DIFFICULTY: Is just right. Hard. You'll die many times, that's for sure. Keep dying until you can succeed.

MUSIC: Easily one of my favorite things in this game. Each of the tracks were composed by only a few artists (2 of those artists make up most of the music however) yet never fail to deliver the feel of the level. Listen to them on the daily.

and the STORY: 9/10, but do I wanna spoil it? No. What I can say is that the game will make you question if you're truly doing the right thing at times, much like Hotline Miami. Do you like hurting other people? Should all of these people die, while you the criminal lives?


And the extra content. An EVEN harder mode, new stuff to collect, several dialogue outcomes to find out about, do stupid things like throwing yourself off a balcony, and of course the new DLC campaign...

Except for the fact the DLC isn't out yet, sadly. But we've seen small footage of it, and it will be absolutely FREE. So stop reading this review and buy this game already. Adieu.

10/10 music, gameplay, visuals and storytelling, but I think the sex scene between Manny Pardo and Tony was a bit too forced.
