I like the concept but I won't recommend it for several reasons :
- The UI is terrible and not configurable. I'd like to have some data that are VERY useful like gap around my driver (just not leader) to plan my pit stops and strategies. As soon as you want to change your strategy or tell your driver something, you loose a part of the info. If you're not in the top 5 and you want to talk to your #1 driver, you loose all the info about timings for 2nd driver ? you loose the mini map.
- Accidents are not random and appear to happen/impact only your drivers. A pilot in a slower car had 4 lock ups in the race and lost a total of about 10s. My driver had one and lost 28 seconds... Why ? Same place, same symptoms 100 times the impact.
- Most of your screen is unused : especially if you have an ultra-wide, you'll just have the interface in the middle and the part of your screen that's wider than 16:9 is useless.
- Map screen is almost useless, the dots are so big that you don't see if another driver is fighting/lapping yours.
- Opponents pit stops often bug : 4 had their pit stop with tyres changed without going through the pit lane/stopping giving them a 25-30s advantage.
- No info on yellow/red Flag, you know there's one on the race interface, no other info on mini-map/map.
- You are bombarded by explanations. I don't mind a first time info but please, stop when I heard it, I'll click the help button if I need to hear it again. I don't need to hear that same line again every time you unlock an extra step in there.

It's a pass for me, even as a fan of F1 and racing games. I love thinking about the strategies but the views you get from watching the race live are more detailed and useful than what you have in game.
