This is a remaster and NOT a remake. Since it's a top-down development only focusing on graphics and QoLs hence remastered while remakes like RE2R, RE3R and RE4R are bottom-up development almost fully developed from scratch. Regardless, it's the very Ninja Gaiden 2 we all know and love.

Now this is open world sandbox JRPG unlike FF16. DD2 really feels like Skyrim for me. Dragon's Dogma 2, Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth / Yakuza 8 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth are great contenders for GOTY.
