I love the Source engine, I love zombies, I love slaughtering them in Co-op. I should love this... But I don't.
I don't hate it either. It's pretty cool. If you can get it for 75% off I would advise getting it, but it never manages to keep my attention.

Some weapons, some maps, some enemies and the AI are just... Meh. But with the Steam Workshop content you can change it to your liking and if you have a couple of friends to play this with this could be a blast. If you're stuck with strangers and stick with the stock weapons and maps it's a very mediocre game though in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend it for full price, especially since they have made it free in the past. If I could I would give this a neutral recommendation.
