Very fluid, fast-paced action. Manages to pull forward some feel and nostalgia for the original Doom for me even though we are multiple orders of magnitude away from the '90s in terms of graphics technology and game design. Note I've played this for about an hour and run through the first chapter, and the rest of the playtime shown on my gamer tag at the moment was inadvertently leaving the title screen up for 24 hours.

This is a great, simple tool to find out if you meet the basic or recommended specs to run a Valve Index. Be sure to run it before buying one so you know what else to upgrade for a great experience!
