Order is temporary. Order has always been temporary, and always will be. Time slips further along as an unstoppable force. Entropy is also an unstoppable force. I have yet to conceive of an immovable object to counter these things. A rock in the river, so to speak. The illusion of order gives us some peace, some solace that we might dare to have some semblance of control over something. That is, until it slips through our fingers and is lost again. What choice have we, but to keep rolling this boulder up this hill? To keep pushing on, as if being punished for some ancient wronging done by some common ancestor. Serenity is known to be accepting the eternal struggle, accepting our fate, accepting all things as they are. What else would we do anyways? As with quicksand, the harder you struggle against it, the faster it consumes you. Of course, some will argue the contrary... That in order to fly one must face resistance. How can we find that to be a truly concrete idea? Can one prove the reality of either perception of chaos? What "proof" are we willing to accept? Entangled with the muddy waters of God's own mind, we may forever wander... But even out of muddy waters may the occasional lotus bloom. The future is always uncertain.
