This is what an optimal beat-em-up looks like. For years I've said the beat-em-up gold standard was Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, but even that was a specific type of beat-em-up, more River City Ransom than like the Konami Classics.

It's incredible how much this feels like a sequel to Turtles in Time, it just feels RIGHT. But not over complicated like a lot of modern revivals tend to be. There is progression, but not ridiculous skill trees and items or anything like that. Instead, as your character levels up, they simply get better. Stronger, more HP, some new moves... simple. Each character does have its pros and cons, so you know, everyone doesn't argue who gets to be Donatello. But it feels balanced, and gives you a reason to try different characters.

And speaking of, there's 7 total characters! And then there's 6 player multiplayer! Which, might be my one gripe, I wish there was something they could put in so it's easier to keep track of your character because it definitely gets more chaotic the more players you add. But honestly, that's my only negative to take away from this. What a great game!

One time me and a pal were playing this, and we ran into a character using a house as an avatar. But not just any house, but house made up of hundreds of faces belonging to Corey from the beloved childrens show "Cory in the House". We then entered this "House of Corys in the House" and we experienced true magic as the theme song to "Cory in the House" played inside of this persons avatar. It was truly a one of a kind gaming experience.

This Game is super fun.

I don't think I've played a game that I've genuinely wanted MORE of than this. I love this idea, and I have a few friends who'd be up to play this sort of thing. I know the puzzles do change, but this really is a game you can only play twice (Once as each class). But those two play throughs are so fun.

Too bad there isn't steamworks support. I'd love to see how the community would do making senarios.

I don't have a lot of hours on the steam version, but if I'd easily put it in my top 5 most played games when it originally came out. Still fun to this day.

This game is a pretty huge improvement over the original. I will say one thing though, because of what the game is, (trying to find out the perfect strategy to stop your enemies) I can't really imagine that there's much replay value other than gun and tower choice switches. But that sort of thing doesn't really interest me. Don't get me wrong though, it's super fun.

Buy this. You'll never experience more joy. And if you play this and feel no joy, you are probably ginger and have no soul.

I can't express how fantastic this game is. Even Battlefield 3 hasn't quite been able to reproduce the fun I had with this game. I always used to complain about the size of the maps and teams, but now I'll only play 32 man maps on the new battlefield. Bigger isn't always better. But this game is tons of fun.

This game is incredible. I haven't decided if I enjoyed it more than Arkham Asylum, but that gae had the advantage of being first and getting all the "OH MY GAWD THEY DID IT RIGHT" reaction. This is just a solid sequel. Bigger and better for it. Just get it.
