The man I once was, would have dug a spade just deep enough into your skull to make you unconscious. And when you woke up, I would let you witness me burn your wife alive. And then I would force your one remaining son to cut off your balls and have you eat them. And as you slowly bled out, the last thing you would see would be me raping your son, not knowing if I would show him the mercy of killing him or not.

My pain is constant and sharp, and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape. But even after admitting this, there is no catharsis; my punishment continues to elude me, and I gain no deeper knowledge of myself; no new knowledge can be extracted from my telling. This confession has meant nothing.
