Solid gameplay. Solid controls. Only beat first boss, but it's looking like it's going to be a dope one.

Well it's everything you need for about 470 hours worth of fun! What more can I say?

When I started playing ARK I was dissapointed, angry, let down. The amount of lag and deaths were unbearable. One of them was my own fault for not being careful, but it didn't help.

Then I started playing with friends, creating a tribe. Building a house where everybody lived, and eventually we took over another place where we had more than one house and a bunch of dinos.

The game itself is fun with friends, but we've been more lucky than that. A russian tribe (that will remain unnamed) is mainly in control of the server we play on. Whenever a tribe started becoming too big, they'd annihilate them. And in another tribe comes, about equally big that dared take them on.

Tension started rising and, eventually, a big war started between them that lasted for 26 hours. The new tribe showed signs that they would win, but the russians won in the end, forcing the other tribe out. The russians have destroyed everybody who was in the side of the losing tribe, and only the neutrals remain.

Fast forward a week, and we came across a Swedish tribe that had helped us a lot when we were new, and we've gotten to know them a lot. We decided that the only way to beat the russians would be to join tribes with eachother and try to get as many tribes to follow. We are now three tribes that have joined up, and right now we're building up for another war. A second ARK war. To destroy the russian tribe and reclaim the land.


Anyways, the lag and the several unforgiving deaths I would gladly take to keep this game as it is. It's a TON of fun and you get to ride frickin' dinosaurs.
