This game is actually great! I don't have many issues with the story at all. Max is still max, the same character I grew up playing. The leniency I have with this story may be contributed to my love for max's character, but I really do like this game, just as much as the first one.

I think the writers did a great job story wise, no major plot holes! The problem is the story doesn't hand hold you in their reasoning of plot, so it's kind of almost entirely up to you to craft your own theory as to why things happen the way they did. Or if you're too lazy I'm sure someone out there posted their theories that make sense! Bottom line, the "plot holes" people point out, the majority of them are explainable.


Choices matter? Kind of with character relationships, but with the ending? Naaah, just like the first game, the ending is fixed between 2 options, I love this though because I don't really care about the ending as long as it's good, and this ending in my opinion was a bit milder, but I like that, Naaaaah I actually love that lmao. - What makes a good story for me, besides the overall plot, is the tiny details yk? The words said, the actions taken, the attitude, the relationships between characters, the stances YOU KNOW!? Not the result! WE ALL KNOW THE MC IS GONNA WIN, LUFFY/NARUTO/GOKU/DOCTOR-WHO WILL COME OUT ON TOP oooorrr something like that. It's about hooooow that's done. This game allows you to alter that to make it the way you want it, although limited by a few options of dialogue, it's still powerful imo

Amazing... Simply amazing. One of the best if not THE best Singleplayer game I've ever played. It's like watching Clannad afterstory for the first time, just not as saddening.
