A wonderful, achingly short, and as of yet followed-up puzzle box game.

An absolute must play for any fan of House of Da Vinci and The Room!

Wishing all of the best to the developers, and praying we see news of the sequel sometime soon!

This has to be a joke game. This has to be some subtle satire that I'm just missing.
It's the worst FNAF clone in existence, that is just using every horror cliche it can possibly use without finding any logical reason to use them. Is it a serial killer game? Is it a haunted suit game? is it a ghost girl game?
It's a piece of crap is what it is. Avoid.

This was a great game, once.

Was.

Now it's nothing but a $5 demo meant to sell you hundreds of dollars in crap piecemeal DLC because the devs are greedy shills.

Early Access Review
A fantastic project, well developed and clearly loved by it's creators, but tragically cut short by circumstance.
There isn't much to it, even these days, but it is absolutely worth the cost to experience what there is to see and play.

Ignore my low playtime, I have hundreds of hours prior to the steam launch in supporter testing builds over the years.

Cheers, Zero Point. Wishing all the best. o7

A bit short, but otherwise fine adventure game!

Game is literally unplayable on modern CPUs. Attempting to start a new game or load a save results in an instant CTD. The fixes are obtuse and unreasonable for a game that's only 13 years old.

I absolutely adore this game, and this world, so making this review absolutely shatters me.
Don't let my relatively meager logged hours fool you. I have thousands sunken, from days long past. Long before TSW became SWL.

An otherwise worthwhile redo of a fantastic but mechanically flawed MMORPG, set in a world where everything you told didn't exist.. most definitely does. Mixing elements of TTRPG storytelling and character building with traditional MMORPG combat and progression, SWL tried (oh so hard, and as sincerely as possible) to bring us into this dark, doomed world, with an ever so faint glimmer of hope for survival and salvation.

Unfortunately, years of mismanagement, apathy, and sometimes outright disdain for this fantastic home we've made for ourselves has taken it's toll in the worst possible way.

The game is barely alive, sustained only by the patience and love of it's most core players, with no true content patch in over 3 1/2 years, leaving us in the lurch with the cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers.

I can only recommend it if you are willing to put the time in to rush as quickly as possible from start to finish, if only to experience the deep, depressing, and yet altogether compelling lore of this universe and the terrifying, wondrous inhabitants within.

I cannot recommend this if you aren't willing to accept the inevitable, crushing collapse of reality.

Do not expect good news. Do not await new patches. Regardless of the lack of official word from above, it does not take a rocket scientist to realize the world is on it's last legs. We have failed, the filth has won. The Dreamers are waking up.

Goodbye.
