Tbf, it's Deep Silver. We already knew who gave them a sack of money from as far back as Saint's Row, last year, it's not that surprising, lol.

That being said, I'd do the same, since there's more people like me that will wait 40 years, transverse the desert, patiently waiting for it to be under $15. They gotta pay their teams somehow.

I hate EGS as much as the next guy, but the game still launches and plays just fine. If you don't want to open the EGS store, use a shortcut. Literally no different from Steam. Dead Island 2 is great though. I really recommend it.
