This game is too way too good. Beautiful environments during day time. Engaging PVE missions with some unique twists to each one. I love the cover system a lot. And the UI is *chefs kiss*. If you like a looter shooter, this might be it.

How do I put this....

It was like 2010, and seven year old me was hella impatient as my dad was downloading a game for me. I've gone to arcades and played so many amazing games like Daytona USA, Street Fighter, Some really old suzuki motogp game and so on, but never in my life have I seen the possibility of playing a video game on PC (except for the already existing ones like 2D Pinball).

That's right, this was my first step into the world of PC video games. Even though it was a demo version, I played the first level so many times. It's genuinely nostalgic for me, and I was surprised that it still exists in the steam store.

From there on, I found out about NFS, Call of Duty, Halo and so on, and over time I've forgotten about this game. About a month ago, I was talking to my mom and she was getting rid of some tech stuff in our house, and she bought something up about my old Toshiba laptop, and that's when I remembered this game. I frantically searched for the name of the game typing weird sentences like "Clay animation spaceship go pew pew old video game". I'm so happy to find it and I'm willing to support the devs who've made my childhood amazing. I bought this out of pure nostalgia. It's really old and idk if any of y'all would like it, but it holds a special place in my library, forever.

Literally a timing and camping simulator. But it's weirdly fun.

A mech game that is actually worth your time? I don't believe it. It's actually insane.

Can't wait to role play as Suzaku Kururugi and kamikaze the ♥♥♥♥ out of enemy mercs lmao.

Who knew that being a trucker was fun. 10/10 would truck again.

Kept this running in the background while I was asleep. I woke up with my entire room on fire.

I have never come across a game where the whole game-play mechanics and looting is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ monotonous, but turns out to be so addictive and fun to grind.

I play this with a few friends and most of the times we give comms and plan out ♥♥♥♥ together while going through expedition. Most of my play time is with randoms, and that is a bit of a mess. You sometimes get brain-dead duos who ignore the first sector boss and straight up just to the 4th sector with just a pistol XD, or you get the crackhead who speedruns though everything like it's their last life (my kind of guy). Better to play with friends or ppl you can find on the shatterline official discord.

As for the gameplay, yea it has a few bugs once in a bluemoon, but everthing is very well balanced and just so fun. (Also, if you purchase the battlepass and complete it, you can literally buy the next battlepass using the premium credits you earn from the previous bp). I completely ignored PvP, cuz it's not fun and requires you to have the well upgraded weapons that require a bit of a grind.

Overall, try this game out if you like Destiny, Warframe, Escape from Tarkov or just any kind of looter shooter.

Literally dollar store Modern Warfare but 100x better. I love the movement and the ftp aspect of it. No need to spend money to actually get good guns. You could speed up the process but it's not necessary. Infinitely fun with friends. Highly recommend to give it a shot. (Plus it's free and you can play on mobile too!)

Overwatch but mecha. Simple as that.

A great game with a decent number of mechs that have unique abilities. A little bit of balancing should be done for a few of them but it should be fine. I still haven't tried ranked but I'm assuming that team mates would coordinate better in ranked as they have skill based match making. I've been waiting for a mech game like this to come out, and I'm so glad this is amazing.

As for the frequent crashes problem, that's probably a connection issue for most players. When the internet connection is too poor, it takes a very long time to get into the game. Hopefully they'll fix this issue. Overall, this game is a must try. Plus it's free, so give it a shot :)

Edit: RIP... If you love mecha games, try out Armored Core : Fires Of Rubicon. It's by far the best mecha game.
