Game is good now, but I'm apprehensive of changing my review to positive until performance improves alongside the removal of restriction to previously available territories.

The game over-all is an extremely positive experience for a 30$ price tag. The human gameplay is pretty interesting and there are actually stealth mechanics (That everyone will immediately ignore.).

The predator isn't invincible, and if they're stupid they'll get mowed down with relative ease, it just takes two players with functioning braincells to really ♥♥♥♥ him up.

The game looks fine, I've had no frame rate issues but a few menu bugs/interaction bugs.

The game's menu is designed by a schizophrenic, genuinely awful to navigate, but that's the worst thing I have to say about the game.

I personally think it's the most fun 4v1 game on the market.

Early Access Review
This game is early access done right and the devs are extremely polite and open to criticism/willing to help, the customization is insane and the combat is nice - if you like mechs, or character customization, play the demo - though I don't think you can transfer demo mechs to your main save, unfortunately.

The good:
- The customization is so in depth, it's crazy - you can change pretty much ever single aspect of your mech - ♥♥♥♥'s nits.
- Combat is simple and fun, the gameplay loop is great.
- The skill trees are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ massive, so many ways to build your mechs internals, glass cannons, physical tanks, shield tanks, shield regeneration, elemental damages, melee, ranged, the devs thought of everything to suit every type of playstyle it's outstanding.
- The game is challenging, but not over-tuned - it's pretty easy to start getting into higher difficulty tiers when playing.
- Upgrades feel meaningful, you NOTICE when you upgrade your mech, you start chunking people and wiping out entire waves of enemies pretty quickly.

The not so good:
This list will be updated as the game progresses through early access.
- Placing stickers/decals on your mech is a bit of a pain, it'd be nice if there were a simple "Click where you want to place it" system, but as of right now it's cumbersome.
- Unlocking parts is a bit of a slog, everything is random, there are loot tables but grinding for specific parts can take hours, it would be nice if you didn't receive blueprints for parts you already have.
- Guns/Ranged kinda suck compared to melee, apparently there is an update coming to fix this but as of right now the guns are not great, I only use them as filler damage when bosses are out of range.
- No Zone of Enders cockpits.

The game is great, even in Early Access and is certainly a steal at 25$.

Early Access Review
I will continue to revise this review as new updates come along for the game, here is an updated review, of which I still do not recommend the game.

The good hasn't changed much.
-Overall game feel; the game feels good, it looks good and sounds good.
-Gameplay; It plays like pokemon, it's good, the focus on double battles is nice.
-Music in Cipanku is nice. Feels lively, wish they had more songs like it.

Kind of good:
- Designs of the creatures themselves; a lot of the designs look great, but then you get others that look out of place (Hidody, Mudrid, Wiplump, Houchic/Tental to name a few) I'm not sure if there were multiple artists on the game but some stuff really doesn't mesh with the art style - this becomes far more apparent when you get to Kisiwa

Bad:
-They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ breeding up even more, now it will cost you anywhere from 50k to 150k to breed a "Perfect" which means about a 40-60hr grind for that amount of money for ONE perfect TemTem.
-TEN HOUR GRIND FOR ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY ONE PAIR OF PANTS
-Devs have not put in a warning system for server restarts.
-Devs remove items from the game with no prior announcement, and do not announce that they removed it until badgered by players.
-Cosmetics cost way too much (You would have to grind for six hours for a single shirt)
-The way you earn money in the game is absolutely awful.
-The breeding system is garbage, even more so now that they've removed the only item that makes breeding bearable.
-The Devs over-tune everything, a couple of guys exploiting a rare tem for money? Their solution? Everyone gets less money from the only way to get money.
-The amount of time you need to grind in this EA game is absurd.

Early Access Review
This game oozes charm - it's simple, fun and easy to just have hours disappear into it, honestly I'm usually pretty iffy about buying in to early access but these devs are ALWAYS updating their blog with progress, it never feels like it's been abandoned, even if updates take a little bit to come out; if you like secret of mana/classic zelda games, give this one a shot.

Pro's:
Animation is solid, the sprites are extremely charming.

Gameplay is simple, fun, easy to understand.

The magic system is neat, honestly I doubt two characters will ever turn out the same.

The music is absolutely fantastic and, just like the rest of the game, are extremely charming.

Cons:

I think the main mechanic/concept of the cards is a touch too grindy (I know, grindea and all that), the drop rates, at least from what I know, float around .75% - 3% drop rates, and since it's the main collectable in the game, it really drags the experience down, though it gives you something to do between updates I suppose.

Melee abilities don't feel quite up to par with what magic can do, save for a few single handed techniques.

The character portriats are very hit or miss, at any given point you will run into a gorgeous character portrait, only to be met with a really disproportioned human skull two NPC'S over.

Overall the negatives are ignorable, and distractions from the game at most, it is a fantastic game made by a team that obviously cares about this product.

First things first, I never played this during release - a friend of mine picked it up and wanted me to play with him, so he got me the starter edition.

The game, at least to me is extremely fun, for those who require comparisons, it's like dark souls but with fighting game mechanics - which is a sweet spot for me. I've had a lot of fun, even while losing, playing this game and the only negative experience has to be the lack of new players such as myself to actually play against. Though this has forced me to "git gud" faster than normal, I would have appreciated a few more matches with people of my own skill level - but that is hardly the games fault, I am aware the game had a rocky start, which is a shame.

The characters are fun, diverse in mechanics and style and all feel unique, a lot like rainbow six seige - but unlike Seige I don't feel like I have to unlock every character, I don't want to play every character and that's nice, to find an identity of gameplay.

If you're on the fence with the game? Get the starter edition, dip your toes in and see if you enjoy it. I hope we can get more new players picking this up so I'm not getting bodied every single match.
