The latest update is the biggest cash grab they have had in over 10 years. Which is even more of a betrayal, because it was supposed to literally be the opposite. On KDMO, this update added a new evolution system which involved a ticket draw. on KDMO you were able to buy tickets for 100M, the F2P in game basic currency, and eventually through draws and rerolling, you could work those up to being rarer and rarer evolutions. You could alternatively, buy a cash shop ticket to instantly get to the better upgrades. This update did not add the 100M tickets that KDMO added. It instead just removed mega evolution with the long time Evoluter item we've been using for over 10 years. Not only that, but they have removed burst mode evolution items from the cash shop, making them exclusive to the new ticket system.

So, not only did they not make the game more f2p friendly, they instead made it even more p2w and even LESS f2p friendly.

I got an idea! Let's market the new and improved non-pay to win version of the game as pay once and then own get to play all you want! THEN Let's suddenly sell the game to another company a couple months in and suddenly swap to a subscription model! THAT'LL MAKE US SO MUCH MONEY! You get what you deserve, XLGames and Kakao. You get what you deserve. Killed an extremely fun game with your greed.

Congratz, you've gone full EA with your ignorance of the community, hostile responses to criticism, and hostility to things that improve quality of life.

End of an era.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best fighting games I've played in years. It's so exciting that the adrenaline gives me a stomach ache, and despite me being in a mild amount of pain, it has been an amazing time. I've played with an xbox game pad before switching to my fight stick. Definitely more fun with a fight stick but great either way.

I got the game when it was more expensive, while it was on sale. It was completely worth it then, and it's even more worth it now. The DLC are fun, reasonably priced and 100% not required in order to get the most out of the game. They do however add a lot.

First things first. It's a turn based, tactics/fire emblem-esque strategy game. I had no idea. The images and trailers in no way make this clear. The trailers and the images and everything makes it seem like it would be an action RPG with some tactical elements or something like dynasty warriors gundam or gundam breaker. I have nothing against this style of game, but it's not what I wanted nor expected.

I haven't played enough to see if the game is good, but it's not a type of game I really enjoy nowadays and I feel as though I was mislead. And what's worse is, my friend got me this as a gift with a key, so neither of us can refund it.

If you enjoy Final fantasy tactics, Fire emblem, or other such games, you might enjoy this, but it's not for me, and their marketing wouldn't inform you that it was that sort of game. As far as the "Action packed scenes" they show you, those happen when you attack another unit. They happen when you defend against another unit. It's boring.

It's a good game. but it's not $20 good, not yet. There isn't nearly enough content to warrant the price. I will however recommend that folks pick it up once there's more. So, yeah. I liked it but I'm also refunding it because in it's current state at it's current price I just expected more than a single dungeon run.

Great game, better with friends, intricately detailed lore and mechanics with the ability to tone things down. Can be as easy as a text adventure or as ruthless as an old school 1st edition D&D game.

It's honestly a fun game. It plays quite similar to old school WoW back when they had a super intricate skill tree and such. There are a few small issues such as the lack of english translations and the occasional bug, but honestly they're very minor. The game also has a very P2W reputation, but in my experience it's a tad exagerated. It does exist, but it's mainly in the pvp battlegrounds, and even then it's not quite as bad as you may have heard.

The game is 100% pvp focussed at this point. Finished the story? Well, hope you like pvp, because they've said it's unlikely they'll ever add new story content or tems. Have fun.
