I started on MH4U and moved to GENX on the 3DS, after that, this game came out on PS4 and man was it a breath of fresh air, after getting to master rank in MH4U this game feels so easy. lol
Mostly going from a tiny screen to a big one is probably one of the issues, and then cramped hands to using a controller or mouse and keyboard is just so much better.
If you didn't learn Monster hunter on a tiny system consider yourself lucky.
Anyways, this became one of my fav series very quickly, the insane learning curve was probably the most rewarding things I have ever done in gaming. Coming from a 3 year old who had to fight teens on perfect dark and goldeneye on N64, or even becoming rank 48 in lone wolves in Halo 3.
Do I go after end game as soon as possible? Nope. I enjoy the entire game that was given to us.
Sure I will try to get a good set for the rank I am currently at. But listen, to really love this game, learn to hate the monsters. Learn their moves. Learn to be a good team mate. Enjoy all the things the game gives you as a QOL boost, because we didn't get those years ago. "Back in my day I had to walk up the hill BOTH WAYS." lol
I don't care if you think you're amazing, if you don't heal yourself or your team, play a different game OR humble yourself and become the greatest hunter hero of them all. :D
