It's a great visual experience and it's full of a lot of sight gags.
It's fun to share with people who have never seen it before.
I'd wait for it to go on sale though.

Something silly is always happening when I play with my friends.
I talk about this game all the time.
Sadly, bots, toxic players, and lack of support makes it hard to enjoy sometimes.

This is an awesome game from my childhood, one which I remember fondly and am still fond of.

Pros:
Simple gameplay
Plenty of unique items and abilities
Unique and interesting story
Funny dialogue
A labor of love
Good 30 hours of gameplay, 35-40 if 100%

Cons:
Simple gameplay
Occasionally offensive dialogue
Very much a flash-website game in style
Minor visual bugs ^^^

Game doesn't work for a number of reasons:
-Cursor is not positioned correctly in game
-Cursor drifts to the bottom of the screen
-Game locks up the computer consistently
Tried a ton of the community bug fixes. Game ended up crashing hard and damaged my hard disk.
I wouldn't try this unless you are an expert at making old programs work.

I owned old skyrim as well, clocked in about 800 hours there.
I finished a 100% run on one character. Every achievement, so I can say that I've thoroughly explored this game.
It is good, beyond good. I recommend it to almost anyone. I also recommend that a person 100%s the game before adding mods.

Oh and there are a few glitches.
Still really fun to swing that red sword around though while playing as the goth chick. 9/10

This game still is one of my favorite games of all time

This game is exceedingly fantastic. The creatures in the game are beyond adorable and the world is large enough for the average player to have plenty to do and explore.
I do however have to be critical of parts of the game:

Firstly my main problem is that there is not enough room to do everything I want to do while I play. I ran out of space for slimes, gardens, and storage fairly early and had to resort to just leaving things laying around in a big pile and letting my chickens run free, and now I have a bunch of chickens under my stairs in the ranch that I can't get out.

Secondly, the layout of the world is fairly confusing and without a craftable/purchasable GPS and or world map type item, I tend to get lost and forget where certain items/slimes can be found. I should also mention finding keys for doors has proven to be next to impossible since I do get lost, even with online wikis

Lastly, I figured out how to cheese the game about one or two hours in and I maxed out everything there was in the game (before the slime science update) about 30 to 45 minutes later. It was no exploit or anything, just a flaw in the game's mechanics that I really can't see a fix for.

Despite all of this, I still find the game to be amazing and I love showing it to all of my friends to see their reactions.
Overall 4/5, given grace that it is still in development. Buy this game.
