After wasting that many hours on the game, I've come to a conclusion that it wasn't worth it. More I was diving into knowing the community and the game itself, the more I see that developers just either don't care or don't know what they should do.
First of all, In this game you can buy taunts, to be toxic to your opponent for real money. So this game monetized toxicity. So questions why this community IS toxic falls behind after knowing that the game wants you to be toxic and doesn't punish toxic behaviour.
Second of all, bad ranking system. We have standart elo system and all, but the main problem comes with an eazy opportunity to make alt and because of that you see many "smurfs" on your elo. Also the system with ranks itself. I kinda like how in League (or at least Tft) if you got platinum for example, you can't lose it anymore. You will be stuck there, but you won't lose plat. And there's Brawlhalla, where every lose in ranking game makes you want to die or be toxic (again).
Third of all.. Lack af actually good updates. The only things that Brawlhalla introduces is more legends and skins to buy, new battlepass to make more money... But, where is the normal 2v2 update with friendly fire that majority of the players want? Where is actually new gameplay? Ranking updates? No, we better make new balance features that will ruin someone's legend pick/gameplay completely!
After being into this game for years, I just can't blindly accept it all. I'm done here.
