Halo MCC has come a long way from its launch. From being essentially broken with little to no content and games that barely worked, to being one of the most impressive efforts in game preservation. While there are still instances of certain aspects of the games versus their legacy versions, the MCC team has made a tremendous effort to bring these games to the modern era. Seeing the classics polished up and brought up to 4K resolution is itself a thing of beauty. But the team has even gone back and fixed bugs in the original graphics from some of their original PC ports before the MCC. I cannot recommend this collection enough and hope generations to come will be able to experience the original series of Halo games.

Starfield is a fresh take on the RPG world. The NASA-punk style mixed with Sci-Fi Fantasy make for a unique environment that differs from Bethesda's Fallout and Elder Scrolls series. Is there some work to still be done, maybe. But did it launched polished and with an expansive story to enjoy? Yes, and it's good to see the wait was worth it.

The game lets you meow, is there really anything else you can ask for?

Aside from this astounding and innovative feature of on demand meowing, Stray has a beautiful way of using environmental storytelling. In a world full of robots and inanimate technology that is in complete shambles everything still feels so alive. There's surprisingly a lot of ways to play the game and there's actually good reason to replay it. The game is casual but has enough challenge to keep you interested.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something new to change up what they're used to from games.

I'll be honest it took me a really long time to get into Skyrim. I was always more of a Fallout fan myself, I preferred guns and power armor over swords and magic. But then I finally gave the game a chance and quickly began to realize it's depth, the beauty of the landscape, the simplicity of its gameplay and I was hooked. I've since fallen in love with the game and all it has to offer. I've gone days completely disregarding any quests I have active and just roamed the map gathering resources to build and furnish my House in the Hearthfire DLC. I've become addicted to joining the dark brotherhood and lurking around as an assassin almost as if I was playing Assassin's Creed. I've fought alongside the empire capturing camps and defeating enemy strongholds for the sake of the empire. And I have truly loved it. So yes I'm late to the game, but with a game as timeless as this one I think that's more than okay. And yes, I look forward to the Anniversary Edition and I will be purchasing it in full so I can have every bit of content it has to offer. I think anyone who has played and enjoyed this game should be willing to buy it in it's totality and be able to enjoy it for many more hours and days.

Okay, after 30 hours of game play it is time for a review.

Let's address the issues that I have seen mentioned by many in the review section:
-New chainsaw ammo mechanics: At the start I too felt that the new ammo mechanics were tiresome and to an extent annoying. The early levels you have no upgrades and ammo is a scare resource. That being said, early levels give you plenty of fodder enemies that are easily farmed for ammo via the chainsaw and take much less ammo to kill, the main reason you will run out of ammo so quickly is you memory of DOOM 2016 and the fact that you are simply used to having more so there is a learning curve. However, later in the game I find myself rarely running out of ammo and with a much more diverse portfolio of guns it is easy to conserve across all the options.

-New armor mechanics: I'll keep this short as it follows the same principles as the ammo. At first you may find it difficult to farm armor but again you won't need as much early in the game. The difference here is, because the flame belch is entirely new, I found myself forgetting to use it even later in the game or getting too caught up in things to use it properly. DOOM Eternal makes you think, the developers described it as a chess game and it truly is, once you get the hang of it you will find farming armor becomes second nature.

-New platforming mechanics: Of all the new mechanics this is perhaps my least and most favorite at the same time. I swear I died more times from timing jumps and platforming sections wrong than I did playing the game itself. That being said, when it works, and it does work, you will have some of the most badass moments you can have. I'm sure many have seen YouTube videos of amazing mid air kills and monkey bar swinging combat that looks absolutely amazing. So in the end it also comes down to getting used to it.

For my final point I would like to say THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL DOES NOT MATTER. I played the game on Ultra Violence for my first time through, and I would say that was a mistake. Unless you specifically want to torture yourself with dealing with extremely aggressive AI demons that make the 2016 ones look like babies ON TOP OF trying to learn all the new mechanics I would HIGHLY recommend playing on at least Hurt Me Plenty first. There is a stigma around playing DOOM that you MUST play on the highest difficulty but I think this couldn't be more wrong. The Slayer is meant to be a god, play on easy, destroy everything in your path, feel invincible, and don't give a damn about what others say. You will find your time playing much more enjoyable learning the mechanics on a lower difficulty and perfecting them there first. Hell, you can always bump the difficulty up if it gets too easy. But don't jump in expecting to breeze through this game. Follow those rules and I promise you this will be the most insane and fun FPS games you will ever play. And don't give up, the game will likely break you but you are the slayer you cannot be broken. When it gets hard take a break if you need to but don't write it off as too hard or the mechanics as too annoying, just keep trying until you nail the ballet of destruction. I hope this helps clarify things for those who have heard the negative arguments and are worried about the game. It's worth it I promise.

I have been a fan of the Metro series since 2033 first came out and it has been on of my favorite narrative driven games of all time. In some ways it feels as though they have doubled down on the story in this game and have definitely elaborated on the main story characters. However they have still upheld the allure of the silent protagonist player character and left decisions to the player. The more open world and freedom to explore in Exodus makes the game much more enjoyable than the previous games and allows the player to really sink some time into the game. I would absolutely recommend this games to fans of the Metro series and will continue replaying it myself to try and complete all of the games achievements.

The classic Shooter Looter that perfected the first game and set us all up for the third. A must have for those who love the grind.

Simplistic yet beautiful graphics and art style, challenging yet fun puzzles, open yet interesting storyline, and plenty of fun to play with a friend. We Were Here Too is an excellent sequel to the first game, adding more puzzles to be solved and continueing the great need for teamwork and clear communication. While there were some puzzles I got stuck on and may have had to repaet a number of times it was fun to learn a little something new each attempt until the solution was clear. I would recommend this to any people who like startegy games, puzzles games, or games with strong team dynamics. It's fun to play with a friend and probably even more fun to play with a boyfriend/girlfriend to really up the pressure. It's definitely worth a play through and I'm eagerly waiting the third game to be released.
