Bought this game since it looked like a nice shooter. It was. It really lives up to the criterias of a good modern singleplayer FPS game. I haven't played any of the other games in the Wolfenstein series (which I have heard are important for the story) but the story so far is pretty good. Many mini-interactions like "open this door" and "carry this man a couple of meters" which always gives the player something to do during blahblahblah-cutscenes. There are of course some beutiful cutscenes aswell.

Since I haven't gotten so far into the game yet I can already tell that there's a good variety of objectives and enemies, both difficult and easy. There are a couple of weapon choices aswell but there might be more to come, what do I know...

The environments are beatutiful if you enjoy hints of steampunk, dirt and scrap metals all over a battlefield. Very realistic blood splatter too and vicious robot dogs for your enterSLAINment.

What suprized me the most is the game mechanics. Just the little things as firing a gun gives a sweet recoil and a wonderful sound. When firing with a full-auto weapon you can really feel how hard it can be to hit a target since the hitboxes are very accurate.

Overall, it's a great game and I should keep playing instead of writing this review.

Performance:
My PC is running it very well on "Ultra" graphics settings even though I only have the GTX760. I haven't measured but it feels like it's 30-40FPS. No lagwaves when I encounter particleclouds as some games do when I run on highest settings.
